With my new EP, I take another delve into the realms of groovy techno. What I’ve done here is combine my love for hypnotic synths with groovy basslines and years of music experience to create a really sweet EP that I hope everyone enjoys.

Yes, I can — and likely will — create more music in this style. I’m super proud of how this project came together, and talented artist Bez Wiley has done a fantastic job on the cover art, so shoutout to him!

The EP’s first track is mega hypnotic and reminds me a lot of heavy, weird underground Australian raves.
The second track is a very experimental and minimal tune that features some really cool synths.
Lastly, the third track is all about building up layered melodies over time and keeping that really fun energy alive throughout the whole track.

A música e a discotecagem são como ferramentas para mim, onde levo sentimento verdadeiro em trazer emoções a cada música executada, como uma forma de ajudar a conectar pessoas através do som. Toda a minha bagagem musical está presente em minhas músicas autorais, remixes e nas apresentações, sempre em constante aprendizado para trazer novas sonoridades, e colocando minha identidade e originalidade no que faço, tudo para que o público tenha a melhora experiencia sonora. 

Como DJ quero sempre apresentar sons modernos, explorando grooves, ritmos e vocais envolventes com características marcantes, trazendo aquela vibe boa e nostalgia para música. Dentro dos estilos atuais que estou trabalhando é o deep house,future house e o afro house com uma pitada de brasilidade (brazilian house movimento de incorporar elementos sonoros típicos brasileiros na música eletrônica,maneira essa de exportar nossa cultura para o mundo.) em todas elas. 

Minhas músicas até aqui já foram tocadas em mais de 100 países, o que me fez conquistar alguns fãs ao redor do mundo. Ganhando destaque em matéria no jornal a Tribuna, sites importantes de música como PalcoMp3, Eletro Vibez e EDM HOUSE NETWORK. Lançamentos autorais das minhas músicas em gravadoras da Europa, já passando da marca de 300 mil streams se somadas, além de lançamento de vídeo clipes no YouTube. Suportes em diversas playlists nas plataformas de streaming (MARTIN GARRIX,KVSH) e músicas tocadas nas rádios dentro do Estado do Espírito Santo. 

Além de fazer eventos particulares como casamento,festa de aniversário,escolas,evento beneficente e culturais,tem em destaque que fui DJ residente do evento Tardezinha Sul real em todas as edições realizadas no município de Iconha. Apresentação fora do meu município, em Viana foi a minha estreia na Kasa Raiz,casamento em Aracruz, participação no primeiro encontro afro-brasileiro em Piúma.Recentemente participe do projeto Viva Anchieta, em 
apresentando no adro do Santuário Nacional de José de Anchieta, sendendo entrevista para TVE, exibição e apresentação do meu remix de Rerigitba.

I am a DJ. Yes. And I produce music. House Music. And - I believe in the magic that good music can deeply trigger our emotions.  And - I run this label called SUGARSTARR TRAXX. Feel free to collaborate and release with me. 

My mission is bringing together the wide range of House Music. From Disco-, Funky- to undergroundish Ibiza Tech House. 

And this is my full story:
 
Sugarstarr is a DJ and Producer, based in Vienna. In the Musicbiz since 1998 he had several #1 Club-Hits released on labels such as Spinnin‘ Deep, Enormous Tunes, Ministry Of Sound, Kontor, Positiva, Universal, Sony, Defected, Toolroom, Subliminal, WePlay and many more. The type of style that is typical for Sugarstarr can be described as Deep-Funky-Techhouse with Vocals & Soul. One of his latest releases was called "Hey Sunshine"​ an hit the #1 in the Beatport-Charts for 8 weeks in a row nad #2 All-Over . It's supported by the likes of Claptone, EDX, Oliver Heldens, Fedde Le Grand, and many many more. The early releases and achievements in his almost 20 years lasting career was along his partner Syke. Thus the project was called Syke'n'Sugarstarr. They cemented their reputation as premier producers and DJs with a string of releases which where also supported by the A-League of the Electronic Dance Music Scene, incl. Mark Knight, Tiesto, Bob Sinclar Kaskade, David Guetta. One of the biggest tunes they ever produced was the collaboration with Housemusic-Legend CeCe Rogers and the reincarnation of the classic "No Love Lost"​ which was three weeks the "Essential New Tune Of the Week"​ of Pete Tong's  Show on BBC Radio 1. Back to Sugarstarr as a solo-artist, which he now embodies since 2014 with huge success. Beside a long list of releases such as "Ticket 2 Ride"​ "Are You Watching Me"​, "Like That Sound"​ or "My Belief"​  it's one more to mention here. It's about the 2014 collaboration with Redman & Method Man (Wu-Tang Clan) in a different way, as Goh. The track called „I Used To Be“ and sat well on the No. 1 position on Beatport for six (!) weeks in a row too. This newly created style combined Nu Disco with Rap & Hip Hop elements. But - the most appealing aspect of Sugarstarr is just how fresh he sounds. Both with his productions and his DJ'ing, which, as anyone who has seen him behind the decks will know, is as diverse and experimental as his studio work.
