This is the first, and probably not the last, of the Fairy Of The Lake of many colors. First there was the Blue Fairy, then, people, you asked for more, and we made up the Red Fairy, and, when you wanted more still, the White Fairy was put together. 

The remixes in the compilation are borrowed from many countries, Turkey, Russian Federation, France, Costa Rica, Canada. However much these nations differ about trifles, they all agree in liking fairy tales. The reason, no doubt, is that men were much like children in their minds long ago, long, long ago, and so before they took to writing newspapers, and sermons, and novels, and long poems, they told each other stories, such as you read in the fairy books. 

They believed that witches could turn people into beasts that could speak, that magic rings could make their owners invisible, and all the other wonders in the stories. 

Then, as the world became grown-up, the fairy tales which were not written down would have been quite forgotten but that the old grannies remembered them, and told them to the little grandchildren: and when they, in their turn, became grannies, they remembered them, and told them also. 

So the new SHANGO RECORDS EP is a compilation and includes seven amazing remixes for your personal book of tales.  Songs about love, hate, broken dreams, suffocation and holding hands.

She had silky white skin like the color of snow and breathtakingly long black hair that hung over her slender shoulders. Everybody loved Moon and Moon loved life. She woke up at dawn, made tea for her mother, and prayed on the terrace, facing the Alborz Mountain, which were pointing in the direction of Mecca. Moon had a beautiful melodic voice and she loved to sing. After her morning prayer, she sat on the terrace, facing the rising sun, as it slowly peeked out from behind the mountain, spreading its rays over the valley below, and then, second by second, slowly spread a shaft of light over the sea. She loved to gaze at the unfolding of a new day from her terrace. She praised God and sang a harmonious tune, first in a soft voice, repeating the words, “Praise to God who created the heaven and earth.” Then as the beam of light widened over the valley, her voice continued its enchanting tune, in harmony with cardinals singing in magnolia trees in the yard. She repeated over and over, “Praise to God who created the heaven and earth.” Majnoon are bringing the silver moon into the shores of Istanbul. This is their first offering for Shango Records.
