Bereits vor über 20 Jahren veröffentlichte Cassy ihre erste Platte. Daraufhin folgte eine Karriere, die ihresgleichen sucht. Cassy hat in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, London, New York und Los Angeles gelebt, im legendären Plattenladen Hard Wax gearbeitet und Residencies in berühmten Clubs wie Panorama Bar, Trouw, Output, DC-10 für Circo Loco, Rex Club, Amnesia für Cocoon und Pacha mit ihrer eigenen Nacht im Pachacha Room gehalten – und noch vieles mehr.

Anja Schneider ist ebenfalls eine wahre Ikone der Szene, die bereits seit den 90er-Jahren aktiv und erfolgreich ist. 2021 wurde sie von der Berlin Music Commission für ihren außergewöhnlichen Einfluss auf die Musikszene ausgezeichnet. Neben ihren energiegeladenen DJ-Sets ist Anja Schneider auch für ihre innovativen Produktionen und ihr Engagement in der Förderung neuer Talente bekannt. Zudem gründete und betrieb sie das weltweit bekannte Label Mobilee Records bis 2017, bevor sie im selben Jahr ihr neues Label Sous Music ins Leben rief.

Bis heute Pflegen die beiden DJs eine innige Freundschaft. Mit ihrer Eventreihe PuMp, die bereits unter anderem im Watergate stattfand, ist Anja Schneider inzwischen auch regelmäßig in der Rakete Nürnberg zu Gast. Beim letzten Dayrave entstand ein wundervolles, knapp siebenstündiges Back2Back-Set der beiden. Viel Spaß mit dieser Spezialausgabe des Jeden Tag ein Set-Podcasts!

More than 20 years ago, Cassy released her first record. What followed was a career unlike any other. She has lived in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, London, New York, and Los Angeles, worked at the legendary record store Hard Wax, and held residencies at renowned clubs such as Panorama Bar, Trouw, Output, DC-10 for Circo Loco, Rex Club, Amnesia for Cocoon, and Pacha, where she hosted her own night in the Pachacha Room—and much more.

Anja Schneider is also a true icon of the scene, having been active and successful since the 1990s. In 2021, she was honored by the Berlin Music Commission for her exceptional influence on the music scene. In addition to her energetic DJ sets, Anja Schneider is known for her innovative productions and dedication to supporting emerging talent. She also founded and ran the globally renowned label Mobilee Records until 2017, before launching her new label Sous Music later that same year.

To this day, the two DJs share a close friendship. With her event series PuMp, which has already taken place at venues like Watergate, Anja Schneider is now also a regular guest at Rakete Nürnberg. Now here's something special. A straightup, bona fide summer smash. A massive dancefloor-smashing beast of a tune. Daniel Dexter continues his long and fruitful relationship with Poker Flat by channelling the sound of classic Inner City in 'Deeper Love', an early 90s house bomb that will send shivers down your spine. Underpinned by a resounding synth riff and dancing counter-motif, Kaori Kaneko's vocals provide the perfect foil, packing a powerful and soulful punch. Prolific Parisian Alexkid provides a radical reinterpretation: stripped down, muted and glitchy, with the vocal cut up into fragmented shards that flutter and fibrillate in an ear-tingling fashion. While on the flip, Berlin's Bay Area import Kevin Knapp intones the names of classic Hollywood starlets over the smooth groove of 'Heroine'.

habt ihr lust auf 4/4 in meiner wolke? wir haben eben den ersten mix aus dem jahre 2005 den ich für wighnomy
und sonnemondsterne gemacht habe in die wolke gelegt. das ist auch der erste mix, bei dem ich anfing mit verschieden
layern zu arbeiten. später dann auf der "metawuffmischfelge" und der "wuppdeckmischmampflow" habe ich das dann vertieft.
er wird nicht zum runterladen sein. bitte versteht das. ein geiler stream bringt doch auch ne frequenz.
bei bedarf unterstützt die musikanten. vielen dank.

wighnomy for the sonnemondsterne festival in 2005 here in the cloud. that is also the first mix,
on which i started using multiple layers at a time. i refined that technique later on "metwuffmischfelge"
and "wuppdeckmischmampflow". i ask for your understanding that the mix will not be downloadable.
an awesome stream is nice as well. if you want you can support the musician.

Within more than a decade now the collaborating production force named Luna City Express, derived and developed from the influences and musical upbringings of Norman Weber and Marco Resmann has turned into a consistent land- and trademark in the electronic music scene in terms of releases, remixes and remarkable DJ sets all over the place.

Incorporating a wide range of musical influences, with Norman being the Chicago House loving son to a Funk, Disco, Hip-Hop and Acid Jazz spinning DJ-father and Marco being an experienced producer which already had caused some trouble on the floor before they first met, the sound of Luna City Express is clearly revolving around House Music in its essential form but still remains open minded.

Ever since their debut single „Fresh“ skyrocketed off as one of the main club hits of 2005, Luna City Express have laid down a blueprint of modern, contemporary House Music on labels like 20/20 Vision, Lapsus Music, Get Physical and Moon Harbour Recordings. A certain highlight has been their track “Mr Jack” which they released on their debut album “Hello from Planet Earth”. It received worldwide support from multiple house music heavy weights and ten years later, it still finds its way to the dance floors. Whilst their initial work was praised for showcasing a vast musical expertise in a long play format, Luna City Express continually gained momentum on dance floors worldwide due to largely successful collaborations released in the following years, with the likes of Roland Clark and Robert Owens.

Besides sharing a combined vision in the studio, the Berlin-based pair of electronic music aficionados is regularly smashing the city’s internationally renowned nightlife scene with remarkable DJ-sets in venues like Watergate, Sisyphos and Kater Blau - DC10, Woomoon and Ants in Ibiza and many more beautiful places, weighing in a combined experience of 45 years behind the decks as both started DJ'ing back in 1994.

Together they played shows all over the world and are, despite collecting heaps of air miles, still closely connected to the place where the Luna City Express success story all began – the beloved Muna Club in Bad Klosterlausnitz.
