French schzyophrenic techno producer and dj since 2002, Letherique is a well-known activist in Strasbourg through his radioshows and his new label Bella Ursa. Never afraid to embrace his multiple influences, this bastard child of Mad Mike and John Carpenter delivers for Tripalium Corp a six-tracks-EP of dystopic techno, oscillating between dark and cinematic soudscapes, slimy experimentation and a touch of cheekiness.

As the mothership celebrates its second year of cruising through the boundless stars towards the Unknown, it is once again time to bring on board a new batch of like-minded souls. Collectively, we probe the myriad of cosmic layers that form the Ursa Nebulas.
After delving into the darkest depths of the Aranea Nebula, the captain woke up one day feeling an irresistible attraction towards a gentler, lighter glow. Far-off. Unusual in its presence and echoing rather exotic pulsations.

Chasing the chants of these galactic sirens, we set course to new and uncharted territories that dramatically expand the Ursa universe. This is a realm where ethereal atmospherics and eerie vocals casually meet trancey shoegaze, acid blends in with chic breakbeats, and alien rockstars appear to perform video game music. But still... be wary of the occasional grasp of elegant creepiness and cinematic constructs, palpable remnants of our previous journey.

Out of this astral maelstrom of sonic oddities, a new series has emerged that we’re proud to present to you today: Nebula Scarabea

Welcoming a good pal of ours on the series. Hailing from our home town Berlin we got UrbnMowgli in the mix. Jump in for a power hour of 140 bpm+ techno infused break electro rollerz. As one of the heads behind Emotional Voyage UrbnMowgli has been enriching the game with not just his own sublime productions but also a lot of dedicated community work, platforming a wide variety of talent, both local and international.

Also revisiting UbrnMowgli's contribution to our WARCC03 compilation from 2022 will bless your ears with a well aged electro-trance-banger from his pen. This is a good moment for some background info regarding my DJ sets and this one in particular.

I treat each set as its own special moment in time and space and sets rarely sound the same. The range of my style is also rather broad with various tempos and colours on the palette. For me, what a set becomes very much depends on the setting and mood, though it's always a sonic journey ought to speak to both body (complex/layered rhythms) and mind (captivating, trance-inducing and emotive aspects), aiming for the greatest impact on the crowd (and myself), mixed with typical components like thick basslines and vocal cuts.

This set for Paradigm x Zeezout became a very immersive one, with a lot of emotions in it. Tension and release, light and heavy, dark and luminous, experimental and easy-grooving to warm up the room properly during this beautiful indoor day-festival.

3hrs (14:00-17:00) of constantly 2 and 3 decks in the mix. Together with the ambience of the Basement that day I'm very content with how it turned out. And the mix has some imperfections, but I guess that's inevitable when experimenting and taking heaps of creative risks. Hope you enjoy(ed) it like I did and let me know about your experience- always looking to hear about those.

Also: this was my very first time playing in the amazing Zeefgebouw, where I've spent many Paradigm party-hours over the past years and which holds a special place in my heart, and it did not disappoint. Very grateful to have been given the honour to fill the space with music before legends DJ Europarking, Mor Elian and Helena Hauff.

On vous en dit un peu plus sur chacun d’entre eux :
@mmaemm construit ses sets en naviguant à travers différentes atmosphères, avec l’objectif de développer des expériences sonores immersives. Influencée par un style de techno hypnotique aux allures parfois psychédéliques, elle puise également son inspiration du côté de l’ambient et de genres plus expérimentaux. Sa passion pour la recherche et la découverte de nouvelles sonorités lui permet d’enrichir son univers musical et d’être en constante évolution. 
Basée à Paris, elle est cofondatrice du collectif La Taquinerie, et résidente au sein du club La Gare, Le Gore les jeudis.

Basé à Paris, @andy_pi est le cofondateur du collectif @nebuleuse.sound . Reconnu pour ses sets hypnotiques qui fusionnent sonorités deep et rythmiques percussives, il canalise une énergie brute pour électriser son public. À travers ses sets, Andy Pi invite à un périple où la danse se mêle à une exploration mentale immersive et profonde. Ayant joué en 2023 à Säule (Berghain), il prend également les rênes des soirées Mutation de Nébuleuse, orchestrant des lineups qui explorent les nouveaux territoires de la techno mentale et du genre-fluid.

Themed around the words uttered by the father of the atomic bomb when he realized that the world would never be the same after the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, it is the perfect soundtrack for these uncertain times.

As a deserving finale to this futuristic trip, label head Letherique gives the leading track a more cinematic twist with an ever-evolving epic structure and bass drums feeling like meteors raining one after another on the surface of the Earth.

For its fourth release, French label Bella Ursa Recordings introduces you to its ‘Ursa Scindo’ split series. A simple concept exists at its center: drawing power from duality, two like-minded and complementary artists provide a single track each and then proceed to remix each other out. It will not only be released digitally, but also on a single tape with two slightly different designs.
Our pick up here was remix by label honcho Leatherique, who enjoys twisting around Desmostylia with its own brand of spooky cinematic techno. Slowing it down and giving it a shamanic vibe, the track builds anticipation slowly, throwing an incantation on each breakdown and only being disturbed from time to time by a few unsettling bass notes lurking around in the background, like a predator stalking its prey. In the last part it then pounces from out of the shadows, revealing its true Lovecraftian form. It takes the listener completely by surprise and shifts the pace up into second gear.
