Deep in the darkest unfathomed depths, 
Crooning a lullaby under the waves. 
She spins the most elegant, beautiful 
Crystalline forms, from the tone of her voice  
And hangs them on chandeliers along the staves. 

She is the Moon Mother, the mistress of the tides 
And not just those that rise and fall on the seas.
She's the muse too, of the silent tides of our lives,
Creating through her songs cymatic forms 
To direct our souls, our dreams and our destinies. 

Since Time began, She has woven, waiting, 
Rocking to sleep her tiny creations, 
Forming and reforming, shaping and reshaping 
Her spiralling ammonites into manifestation.

In the heaving dark rhythm of Her endless patience
There's a cornucopia of Her seminal visions, 
Held in Her womb of amniotic waters, 
Birthed in the firmamental seas of the matrix 
Along the dark belt of the Magna Mater, 
And nurtured in the star cradle of the Creatrix. 

We find, in the algebra of her lattice symphonies
A doorway to the mysteries of creation itself. 
Constellations of life...waiting to spin 
Through the liminal walls, at Her behest, 
This eternal dance of the hours, in lemniscate.

RED MIST
Its the red!
I'm always learning but more rapidly I'm leaning
Suffering self inflicted internal bleeding
I only hope the red mist starts quickly disappearing
Can't bare the self-loathing and inner fearing

Who would guess we'd mess up in this way?
The angels falling
Guess its what we get when we have a say
The fools are calling
Pampered up and showered in champagne
Our morals scattered
Never realised we were quite this vain
We're bashed and battered

When towers fall and whole cities barely survive
This is just a momentary glimpse into my mind
Eradicating whole generations in acts barbaric and unkind
My inner searching is working hard on the goodness yet to find
There's one red mist after another and each one more unclear
There's protestors waving banners declaring the end of the world is near
I'm sitting having a giggling fit as I down a pint of beer
It doesn't matter what you say I'm determined I won't hear

There's a red mist hanging for too long
The world can see it
What the hell did we ever do so wrong?
I didn't agree to it
Where's the key to open up new doors?
Its old and rusted
Yesterday I woke from demon jaws
I'm glad I trusted

Take me to the pharmacy
These fascists sing in harmony
There all the same from what I can see
Is this really a diplomacy?
They march whilst chanting populist lines
That appeal to people of all kinds
The lies and hate are underlined
Beware the mines they left behind
They're working fast they upped a gear
They work on each and every fear
The voices shouting in my ear
Exploding forth from out their rear
An evil stench that leaves a stain
An ever growing cancerous pain
They're driving in the fastest lane
I fear for those of us that remain

I can barely see anything but blood and tears and guts
Its pissing down with rain on the people in mud huts
They are desperate in their search for boats to the land of ifs and buts
Its a crazy mind in a crazy world that seems to have gone nuts

What a mess for those of us that stand
But we're still smiling
A simple cross is enough to give a hand
Its age defining
Wave the flag and disperse the angry mist
My hope returning
Thank the lucky stars the lies all missed
Reputations burning
