Joaquín Acosta, originally from Trelew, Chubut, Argentina, has been immersed in the world of electronic music since childhood, a passion he inherited from his father. His love for music led him to explore and delve into music production from an early age. In 2020, at just 15 years old, Joaquín began producing music, initially focusing on tech house. Over time, his musical style evolved and aligned more with techno, although he still enjoys spinning house in his sets.

In 2023, Joaquín took a significant step in his career by releasing his first track titled "Receso," included in a Various Artist compilation under the Wangan Club label. This release marked an important milestone in his trajectory, consolidating his presence in the techno scene.

Joaquín's first live performance was also in 2023, when Skandhas Records gave him the opportunity to perform in public for the first time. On this occasion, he shared the stage with other artists from the Fungi Techno cycle, demonstrating his talent and ability to connect with the audience.

One of the characteristics that distinguishes Joaquín Acosta as an artist is his constant quest for innovation in his sound. He does not settle for a single musical style; instead, he explores and discovers new nuances, allowing him to develop his productions in a unique and dynamic way. This ability to adapt and renew his music is what makes him special and drives him to continue growing in the music industry.

John Monkman stands at the forefront of the global electronic music scene. Known for his dynamic performances and cutting-edge studio productions, Monkman has earned a reputation as both a live music pioneer and a master of sound design.

Affiliated with some of the most prestigious labels in electronic music, including Kompakt, Ellum, Beesemyer Music, Siamese, and Anjunadeep, Monkman delivered the spellbinding track Siren for Kompakt and collaborated with Pete Tong on Ecstasis for Maceo Plex's Ellum Audio. His releases, such as the Komplex EP on Anjunadeep and the versatile Tune In Turn On EP for Ellum, highlight his remarkable range. With two Beatport number ones—his remix of Solomon Grey's Twilight and his single Don’t Have to Be Beautiful—Monkman has further cemented his influence on the global electronic music scene.

Equally compelling is Monkman’s remix portfolio. His remix of U Love for Sasha’s LNOE 100th release, supported by Patrice Bäumel and Sasha, showcases his creative versatility. His rework of Space Date by Adam Beyer and Green Velvet for Drumcode demonstrates the respect he commands within the industry. Monkman has also been remixed by Moby. In 2023, he reunited with Pete Tong for an official remix of Duran Duran's Give It Up, marking another standout moment in his career.

On the live stage, Monkman’s impact is undeniable. He has headlined festivals like the UK’s Noisily Festival, brought his live set to the Ozora Festival in Hungary, and performed at the Anjunadeep Festival in Albania. His recent achievements include headlining Rainbow Serpent 2021. The debut of John Monkman: Live at Coachella 2018 with The DoLab was a pivotal moment, revealing his innovative approach to live performance.

The year 2024 has been a defining chapter for Monkman. His latest live show, Pulse, premiered in Paris through a collaboration with Collectif Scale, breaking new ground with its kinetic light art installation. Filmed in a Paris warehouse on July 6th, this show delivers an immersive audiovisual experience that pushes creative boundaries. In the same year, Monkman released Khord on Anjunadeep, followed by three singles—Vader, Roller Vox, and MAYA—on Beesemyer Music.

Amsterdam-based DJ Cobahn began her musical journey in Seoul’s vibrant techno scene, immersing herself in its spiritual depths. Regular performances at Club Vurt—renowned as an underground techno bunker—allowed her to refine her craft through a variety of boundary-pushing parties.

Now based in Amsterdam, she continues to expand her musical horizons across Europe, performing at prestigious venues such as De School, Tresor, Garage Noord, Radion, Raum, and Perron, as well as celebrated techno events like Ratherlost and Pax Romana, and festivals including Dekmantel, Paral·lel, and Mostra.

Influenced by Eastern culture and the raw force of nature, her sound fuses deep, psychedelic elements into dark, polyrhythmic, and irresistibly groovy soundscapes. Her sets invite listeners into a ritualistic state, where the boundaries between consciousness and the subconscious blur. Focused on a spectrum of deep, organic, and avant-garde sounds, Cobahn’s hypnotic performances encourage audiences to explore the depths of their psyche through dark, mesmerizing rhythms.

Paral·lel Festival has curated a musical selection based largely on uniqueness, promoting differentiated and disruptive musical paradigms. DJs from the international scene will explore experimental, ambient, and techno musical aesthetics over the course of 3 days on a single stage. Each performance will organically link the previous and subsequent performance, forming a narrative that weaves through a balanced day-and-night program.

An inspiring environment, precise musical selection, and the comfort of our attendees are the three utmost central axes for our organization team. We aim to offer a novel and fulfilling experience for music lovers with our distinct and purposeful program.
