From The Top is a 5 track EP from UK based producer Fortune. The EP showcases Fortune's progressive and jazz-tinged twist on instrumental hip-hop. Reminiscent of Japanese producer Nujabes, or Bonobo's early material, From The Top features guest vocals from Bristol songstress Leo Wood, as well as a special remix from globally recognised and Leeds based producer Quantax.

Lunatick Records are excited to bring to you “Good Little Automation Droids”, the new album from Pennsylvania based producer Doc Heller. 

Hailing from a future that will no longer exist, Doc Heller is the producer moniker of the more well-known emcee Darko The Super. Having stepped up his game in 2014, Doc Heller has already produced for both legends and rising stars alike. With production credits for Murdoc (Sway & Tech’s Wake Up Show freestyle champion) and up and comer Open Mike Eagle under his belt, Doc Heller is finally ready to release his first release with UK based label Lunatick Records. 

Both the title of the album: “Good Little Automation Droids” and the name Doc Heller - are taken from the 1999 Kinka Usher film Mystery Men, highlighting the many film and TV influences that Heller applies to his musical style. 

15 beats deep, the album is as varied as it is peculiar, with tracks ranging from the jazz influenced Business, to the weirdo rap production showcased on Funk Is Life. As both an accomplished rapper and producer, Doc Heller is able to tailor his beats from an emcee’s point of view, giving each track a loose feel that any lyricist would be happy to flow over. With the work rate of a seasoned producer despite his young age, it’s safe to assume that this won’t be the last you hear of Doc Heller.

Sumochief - 1of1

Following the success of their debut EP on Lunatick Records earlier this year, South London jazz/hip-hop quartet Sumochief have once again teamed up with the UK based imprint to present a series of remixes from the acclaimed Sumobeats EP. 

First to present his unique take on the EP's opening track "1 Of 1" is York based producer Handbook. After a string of incredible releases, whether it's his solo instrumental work or working with talented emcees across the globe, Handbook has amassed a strong following over the last few years, establishing himself as one of the biggest names in the UK beat-scene.

The full EP is due to be released through Lunatick Records on the 28th of October 2014 with artwork from the talented Kristian Berge.

Windsor Smith is the brand new instrumental album from producer and emcee Don D. As one third of hip-hop group and production team "The Northern Lights", Don has produced for and featured alongside some of underground hip-hop's biggest talents, such as Dooley-O, Left Leberra and more. 

In preparation for the release, we've decided to leak a track from the upcoming 9 track EP. "ThingCalled" highlights Don's incredible ear for soundscape design, along with his preferred minimal drum patterns and unusual sample choices.

"Oh My" is the first single from UK producer Cypria's upcoming EP on Lunatick Records entitled "My Gray Skies Blue".

The track features Supreme Sol, an upcoming emcee from St. Louis, Missouri. He has recently gathered an impressive following for his impressive lyrical ability and poetic skill which has seen him work with artists such as Sci-Fi Stu, Venomous 2000, Handbook and many more.

Cypria is a 19 year old producer hailing from the UK who has worked with artists such as Tha Connection (Digi Crates Records), Charmingly Ghetto, Public Transportation and more.
