Lunatick Records and Sumochief are proud to present the new single "1of1" off the brand new EP Sumobeats, due for release Thursday 26th of June.

Consisting of Oscar Laurence (Guitar), Joe Armon- Jones (Keys), Jack Polley (bass) and Olly Sarkar (drums), Sumochief are heavily inspired by the likes of J Dilla, D'Angelo, The Roots, The Robert Glasper experiment and many more. 

Largely written and performed live, their music reflects both their classical jazz training. as well as their many hip-hop influences. 

Since their formation last year the group has already attracted significant attention both in the UK and overseas, with the likes of Potholes In My Blog, Laid Back Radio and Starcount all supporting the release of their last single "Gator Season".

Sitting Here is the first single from UK producer Cypria’s new instrumental project “Broken Dream Boulevard”. 

Coming off the back of his acclaimed album, the ten track EP sees the up and coming beat-maker delve into a slightly darker sound, whilst at the same time maintaining his signature soulful style. 

Sitting Here is the first preview of the result of over a year of hard work that has served the purpose of redefining and improving Cypria’s signature sound, and is a sign that the budding producer is ready to establish himself as one of the leading lights in the UK’s already buzzing 
hip-hop scene.

It's been a while so I though I would surprise you all with a new track. Just a little something I cooked up recently and was feeling. I've been heavily into old soul samples with especially nice string arrangements recently and I did my best to flip this particular sample in a way that I thought was original whilst still retaining that soulful feel.
