A vast influence of township and urban culture as well as the black diaspora helps them pave their own understanding of what the black journey is .
They take influence and inspiration from south african jazz , folk ,indie , ,native sounds as well as bossa nova ,deep house , new age alternative wave  and delayed alternative rnb in south africa.
lungelwa mostly dabbles in unrefined sound scapes and is sonically evolving their sound.
The development of their craft is only beginning and they’d like to you sit back and enjoy the ride...
