PREMIERE: NOIYSE PROJECT - Aliferous [Till The Sunrise]

D.J. MacIntyre's SLC-6 Music opens the month of August by welcoming Trikoma to the label for his debut single. Perhaps best known for his work under his given name of Omar Nickel, Texas-based artist Trikoma has a short but impressive discography. Releases via Supacook's Kitchen Recordings and Indian imprint Groove 9 have been the primary vehicles for Trikoma's fresh approach to progressive house, as he continues to push his musical boundaries with this elusive moniker. Having appeared on SLC-6 as Omar Nickel earlier this year with a remix of 'Ag 47' by Platon (RU), Omar now debuts his Trikoma alias on SLC-6 with 'Somnia', alongside remixes from David Podhel and Nahue Sintes.  Landing appropriately in the heart of the summer season, Trikoma's tough kick drums, warm key changing grooves and fluttery arpeggiated fragments marry perfectly, while two stripped down interludes do wonders to build anticipation on the dancefloor. Making his label debut with the first interpretation of 'Somnia' is David Podhel who arrives following strong projects for Mango Alley and Timeless Moment. The Mexican artist makes great use of the original elements for a pacier, more progressive influenced rendition, one that excels through its use of panoramic melodies, wavy arps and a gorgeous array of balmy textures. The release concludes with Argentinean artist Nahue Sintes also making his label debut with the second and final interpretation of 'Somnia'. Best known for his releases via Droid9 and Kitchen Recordings, the Buenos Aires resident crafts a whimsical sounding version of 'Somnia' to round out the release. Perhaps best suited to the morning hours, its emotive synth phrasing and rolling cadence goes down as Nahue's most emotional creation to date.

M.O.S. share their new double-single 'Graycloud / When Cicadas Quiet Down'. 

Predominantly known for their flair for Organic House, M.O.S. are no strangers to the Anjunadeep labels, first debuting in 2019 with collaborative double-single 'Volga / Bengali'. They have since released two esteemed EP's on Anjunadeep, 'La Sonnette' and 'Orchidea', as well as singles via the Anjunadeep Explorations compilation series. 

'Graycloud' was premiered earlier this year via Anjunadeep 15 in May, selected by James Grant and Jody Wisternoff, and is now paired with the uplifting 'When Cicadas Quiet Down'.

John Digweeds Bedrock continues to mould what is already shaping up to be another exceptional year for electronic music, with a solo project from Johns long time studio partner, Nick Muir. A producer and DJ of the highest order, Nick is also a musician and composer, and is widely recognised as one scenes most respected creative mavericks.

Nick Muir is a producer of the finest electronic dance music, and Mirror Walk rides on a delightful hip-swinging groove, overlaid with heart-melting melodic beauty. Masterfully hypnotic in a supremely understated way, there is an intense attention to detail throughout Mirror Walk and that is the mark of an exceptional producer at the top of his game.

Bedrock fans will already be very familiar with Khens emotionally charged style. Having steadily risen up the ranks on the global stage since emerging from that quiet and seemingly unending reservoir of talent in Tel Aviv, he possesses a truly idiosyncratic sound that transcends genres. Here, he raises the tempo, keeps the swing and respectfully builds a percussion led gem of a remix for Mirror Walk. Khen playfully toys with and tweaks melodic motifs with a hypnotic methodology akin to that of an exotic snake charmer.

As a finale and in perfect juxtaposition, Nick Muirs In The Room explores a darker side of the masterful producers creative palette. Here he twists and contorts his unbounded electronic experimentation into a swarming whirlpool of explosive energy a nightmarish soundtrack par excellence.

Edu is a unique force within the field of driving melodic, emotive, energetic electronic music. As a multi-tasking DJ, producer, remixer, label boss and event promoter, his global reputation stands as testament to an artist at the top of his game. The Starbuster EP is an exceptional exhilarating ride, featuring timeless music with a focus on the future and a nod to the past. 

Title track, Starbuster, blends hypnotic melodious layers to perfection over an incessant linear groove with flourishes galore. The swirling arrangement drops to a glorious spine-tingling breakdown mid-way before soaring once more towards the heavens. The contrasting staccato groove of Concorde is no less enthralling, topped with looped melodies and yet another wonderfully structured breakdown as the track flies along with astounding poise and passion. Flightmode is a perfect finale - from its muted intro to its unfurling rhythmic and melodic elements it grows steadily, tugging at heartstrings, its emotive splendour masterfully revealed.

Alongside this, his truly global touring schedule: over 30 countries across 5 continents, with stand out sets at the worlds finest festivals (such as Sonar, Tomorrowland, Coachella), its finest clubs and at the original home of dance music with consecutive Space Ibiza residencies before its closure. In addition, his Fayer and Eklektisch labels and his Fayer event series are renowned and loved for both their unique style and vision. Perhaps most amazing, is that despite such a long list of achievements thus far in his career, this visionary Spaniard is still somehow in his twenties!
