Shortly after his debut release ‘Erase Me’ with LUS records, we are proud to present MONOMINDED’s debut album: ‘Observer’. A unique listening experience birthed from the dark, deep and emotional sound he has been forging in his live sets for years. 

Sticking to a mostly analog and modular approach, MONOMINDED showcases his unique sound and approach to music in his debut album. Every single sound in this listening experience is meticulously thought out, engineered, and placed to create a certain atmosphere. The album gradually exposes a rising drive of emotion through a rhythmic and energetic darkness. This energy finally transitions into its fast paced form, revealing its ominous character in the second half of the album. 

With these scoring induced elements, MONOMINDED achieves to tell a complete and encapsulating story without any compromises made to the focus on dance floors. While the complex layering pushes through different musical phases for each track, the complete result still works in a club environment. 

To do justice to this carefully crafted analog work, we believe it was necessary to come forward with our first vinyl release, a limited 100 numbered copies.

Grim Beazley is back with his second EP on Laib Und Seele Records after being featured on Eris Drews’ mix for Apple Music. This time the stellar Melbourne artist packs two original tracks and a collaboration with friend DJ Bert, forming Jerk Traffic. The EP kicks off with the untitled Jerk Traffic tune; a five-and-a-half-minute mind-bending dancefloor crusher. The track opens with a hypnotic pad layered over a minimalist and trippy synth line. A broken kick drum pattern carries the intro to an end, bringing a soundscape with dark yet melodic synths supported by clever percussion. The second track, Ramloysphere, focuses on a four-to-the-floor kick drum rhythm and an emotional, almost floating melody. The overall vibe moves toward a more atmospheric direction, yet it doesn't lower the energy level in any way. From dark pads to high and colorful tips, the nearly seven minutes spanning tune whisks the listener away into a euphoric dreamscape.
A dreamy feeling continues in the last work of the EP, Mindcushion. The bright, atmospheric track leans towards happy memories of happier times. With rhythmic elements entering and leaving, it gives hope and perspective on a beautiful future to come.

LUS records welcomes Nightdrive to the family with the 9th release on the label. St Petersburg based producer brings 3 masterfully composed House tracks that are elevated with hints of garage and bass music, creating an interesting edge and a mysterious yet playful mood.
The EP kicks off with Karusel, setting the mysterious tone which builds up to a hopeful expectation. This mystery leads to the second piece where the EP moves to a more playful mood with FLARTF resolving the build up. And finally the EP comes to an end with Nonstop, slowing the pace down ever so slightly and almost faring a bid well to the listener.

LUS009

Inspired by experimental club music and video games, Nosync blends beats and ambient sound design with a functional sensibility to create immersive tracks that evoke particular scenes. Their recent debut EP, Outer Limits, plays with soft, rounded sounds bolstered with deep sub bass and scattering percussion to present a scene only understood best by looking at the EP artwork. They've also just released their track 'Installation 04', on a compilation for the Ghost Notes label, headed by Impey and Odessa.

For catalogue number 007 on Laib und Seele Records we proudly present young Maltese artist and LUS-Cofounder Redline Fever. His work has already been published on the first LUS-compilation. While shortly residing in Tenerife, he is now back on his way to London, his home of choice, and with him three fresh, powerful, dancefloor-ready tracks packed into his luggage.

The mini EP kicks off with the track Freak. Broken kickdrum-patterns bluntly warm up the atmosphere, followed by several percussive elements. Screaming pads approach and just when they’re about to get you they fade back into distance. The first climax is reached when a gloomy and strong synth-riff steps into the action, giving the track a dark and mystic energy.

The dark vibe continues in the next track. A four-to-the-floor kick drum at 145 BPM is the central element that carries Look. The track presents itself refreshingly simple but retains enormous amounts of energy. Sparse industrial sounds enter the scene but never steal the show.

Last but not least, the EP is completed by the track !Alone, with that no signs of slowing down. We turn up the tempo to a sweaty 155 BPM. The room is foggy, dark and raw. The moods are swinging. With your eyes closed you can almost see the flashing stroboscopes around you. The track comes with a clear line that goes only into one direction: straight forward.

We are chuffed to have @cathydaniels, a long time friend of label, join us for this month’s Loafy Tunes on Netil Radio. She is a member of the Catharsis collective in Berlin which currently acts as a party and podcast series. 

In her own words this mix is for the club and the dance floor and we couldn’t agree more with this sentiment. Touching a variety of genres ranging from acid, breaks, house, she achieves to create a deep and hypnotic atmosphere with bursts of emotion seamlessly sprinkled throughout the whole journey. With a monthly residency at Waiting Room, she's making a mark in the underground scene, drawing inspiration from her upbringing in renowned clubs like Tenax and Fabric, as well as regular visits to Ibiza. Yūgen's eclectic sets range from deep groovy minimal to hypnotic, stripped-back techno. A highlight in her musical journey is the unforgettable set after Dr Banana at Vortex in Tisno during the 2023 Dimensions festival, etching a cherished memory since the start of her music venture.
Yūgen is joined by our host soft touch for the first hour who will be doing a vinyl only mix. Very similar energy and sounds to what's going to be played at Josh Sparrow and soft touch's Boom Room event at the Jaguar Shoes on September 27th. The New York-born multicultural Berlin-based DJ has played at Berlin venues like Renate and Birgit, but especially loves her a good UK rave, be it as guest or DJ. A true lover of wubs from UKG to bass to jungle, Anna also takes inspiration from her roots in hip-hop and Puerto Rican genres. While the UK-influence is apparent, Anna loves to fill up sets with tunes by producers from Iran, Japan, Russia, Egypt, etc. Warm up your stank face and expect a variety of styles, rhythms and tempos in every set - complete with lots of lethal bass, breaks and acid.

True to herself, Cassine’s sound is no-nonsense, and attitude driven - a sound that reflects a life shaped by the trials of adolescence and the unapologetic energy of the queer club scene. Cassine channels her real-world frustrations and life experiences into her tracks, producing industrial house music with tough tech undertones that mirror her aggressive and resilient approach to life. Her latest track, “Butterflies and Delusion,” is a perfect example of this. A hard-hitting industrial house track that captures the intensity of unrequited love and the internal battle that comes with it. It’s raw, aggressive, and deeply personal—a reflection of both Cassine’s past and the resilient spirit that drives her forward.

We welcome Sammy Bacca, our talented friend from Zurich to his debut on Netil Radio. In his own words his affinity for good music has been honed since he was a child. When he finally was “old” enough to start collecting records, that’s when it took off - his world became enveloped by music and records. At home, there’s never not a record playing. Having had some residencies in Zurich and still keeping up with the scene there, he’s been behind quite a few DJ booths in the past 20y, while also perfecting his skills as a selector. With that said, his set shows a variety of groovy and funky gems he has selected for us to enjoy.
As per usual soft touch will be supporting Sammy with the warming sounds of disco for the first hour before he takes over decks.
