A recent stalwart of Sydney’s blossoming underground music scene, Posture brings us their first international release, a 5 TRACK MULTI-GENRE EPIC

The EP features unusually long tracks that dip and weave beautifully between genres, much like the Record Thief dips and weaves amongst the shadows on a late night thieving excursion..😈😈😈

Rave, electro, techno, breaks feature all on one track… let alone throughout the EP that has incredible variety. Elements of techno and breaks (+ more) perfectly align with atmospheric breakdowns that draw the listener in before driving powerfully forward.

To say we are excited about this release is a massive understatement. We think this collection of songs is stratospherically sick, defying convention, incredibly produced, and pushing a unique sound forward outside of boxed ideas of genre. 

This release is exactly what we set out to do when we started the label , so we couldn’t be happier for this to be an SG release. @deejayposture is up next, watch this space!!!

Baraka has always been synonymous with "lucky star". And it is true that you can find some of that in this duo. In 2020, as the world prepared to go into lockdown, Cristofeu (DJ and producer) and sa+ga (DJ, singer, poet, author) got together to compose a series of tracks featuring poetic vocals, acid sounds and synthetic layers. You can feel the influence of trance, trip-hop, drum'n'bass and artists such as Prodigy, Massive Attack, and even Björk. But it is on stage that Baraka's music really comes into its own. Capable of transforming a concert hall into a dancefloor or building up a club’s energy to the level of a punk show, the duo electrifies every venue they play at: from the Berghain/Panorama Bar (Berlin) to the Trabendo (Paris), from Positive Education festival (Saint-Étienne) to Boiler Room. Berlin’s Hypersoft collective kick off their new label with a 15-track VA raising
funds for trans youth and a launch party at OHM.

The collective, run by Berlin and London-based DJs TPR and DJ TEETH, emerged onto the scene in 2022 and is known for balancing breakthrough and established artists from the new school of the progressive landscape with legends and innovators of the scene, a resident lineup that includes Cromby, Bambi and Bliss Inc. and guests ranging from Sunju Hargun and Spekki Webu to nd_baumecker and Jane Fitz.
