Fred again taught me that as artists we don't always have the words to fully express ourselves, but we can create with the words of others to share in the expression of what we're all feeling.

I know life can be hard for us all. Coming up on my 10 year anniversary of sobriety hit me with a wave of emotions.... I'm still the same person that was an addict and adjusting to life with nothing to numb out to has it's waves - some stronger than others

Creating this flip has been my reminder to stay in it: to stay grounded, stay humble, stay connected to others, stay willing to be there for the people around me regardless of what I'm going through, stay sober, stay grateful for my life

As an artist I believe its a gift to be able to create, and I want to use this gift to create something that bears witness to the life I'm trying to stay in
