Throughout the entire "動亂星 Stars of Turmoil EP", the Gabber / Hardcore influence cannot be erased, but this is already the result of GG's efforts to suppress this influence to the minimum. The sensory stimuli pursued at the DJ set were not all brought into his personal release. "動亂星 Stars of Turmoil EP" is concerned with what is happening now, not the cyberpunk ideas, the fantasy of the stars and the sea, nor is it a thing of the past.

For Kelvin T’s second full-length album ‘Aerate’, the Hong Kong-based musician utilises sound to mimic a hallucinogenic state of mind, a means to coax listeners into relinquishing control over their consciousness.. 

After his last album ‘Unlock Voice’, released in late 2018 through Hong Kong-based label Absurd TRAX, Kelvin T has been on the search for a new sonic palette. The result is ‘Aerate’, a collection of songs designed to be consumed like substances, substances that transport you into a state of ‘headbanging relaxation’ (in the words of the artist). Compared to the last album, which focuses on eliciting specific emotions through the association of sounds, ‘Aerate’ aims to transport listeners into an alternate state of mind and body, one that can possibly only be achieved through the use of substances.

The name ‘Aerate’ indicates the intention of the album - to aerate your mind, you have to surrender the urge to remain alert, to be in the pilot’s seat of consciousness. In order to truly experience this album, one must submit to the intoxicating bacchanalia of the music, leaving conscious will at the doorstep.
