Rooted in the soul of Chicago’s house heritage and layered with Afro-rhythmic percussion, warm basslines, and organic textures, this instrumental album celebrates the city’s spirit, diversity, and unity.

Across ten tracks, the story unfolds in three acts — sunset, motion, and reflection — capturing everything from rooftop grooves and “L” train rhythms to the euphoric heartbeat of Halsted and the peaceful calm of Michigan Avenue at midnight.

This is music for those who feel the pulse of the city — dancers, dreamers, lovers, and wanderers.

Introducing Kon‘s forthcoming compilation album ‘Kon & The Gang‘, we are delighted to present this 12″ sampler featuring two incredible cuts taken from the LP, as well as an exclusive remix from Kon

Opening track ‘Timeless’ could hardly be more aptly named. Sublime, smokey piano touches on the intro give way to an uplifting, languid disco track, jammed full of sunshine. Catchy vocal snippets, rock solid bass and guitar licks build up the groove beautifully alongside Kon‘s trademark staccato, squelchy synth chord stabs. On the flip-side Kon presents a remix of his own track ‘Timeless’. Highlighting piano loops and synth stabs from the original version, his rework moves the track seamlessly into Deep House territory, with smoothly rolling percussion and a hypnotic arrangement.

Truccy (better known as Compost’s Rainer Trüby and Corrado Bucci) close out proceedings with ‘Closer’, another sun-drenched groove with definite Balearic touches. Jazzy chords and touching vocals (performed by the duo themselves with assistance from Nicolas “Michael Ellis” Rogoll) lend the track a distinctly ‘live’ feel.

A delicious taste of what’s to come from ‘Kon & Gang<‘, this limited 12″ is surely going to be essential listening this summer.

'Ray Mang makes his second appearance for the label with "Cc Amor", a tasty revision of a punchy, horn-heavy chunk of disco sweetness. Wisely, he makes much more of the original version's all-too-short drum breaks, chopping and looping the carnival-friendly percussion to guarantee greater dancefloor thrills.'

FHUO Records has been pushing the limits of its own diversity by releasing an ambient soundtrack album, hip-hop beats, neo soul and electronic music during the last months.
But here it comes back after a short hiatus with something powerful and very special, the first solo album of one of the all time finest french jazz pianist on the scene, Marc Bianco.
Known for his house productions and his project Kimosabe with Folamour, Marc Bianco decided to go back to the roots for his first long format under his real name. Coming from improvisation, live jazz and the connection between composing and sharing energy, he decided to mix all these ideas into a beautiful experience going through cinematic universes from one track to the other. Different worlds while we're still on the same trip. One for the books!

With his stripped-down emotional love for music and kind soul, Leipzig-bound beatsmith and all round top geezer Luvless has been steadily cementing his reputation as one of contemporary house music’s finest.

Luvless is known for his work with Rose Records – a label he started with four other friends back in 2011 – and a smattering of appearances on several other labels. slamming down dusty disco edits as well as athomspheric house belters. Since 2017 he’s been focussing on his new project Velours Records. a vinyl outlet for different avenues of the Luvless sound and guest appearances by friends.

His music has been described as sweet, gentle even, but banging at the same time. It sometimes pays homage to the old Kerry days with extra magic dust sprinkled on top.
