With releases on Tsuba, Sleazy Beats, Rose Records, Razer 'N' Tape, Diggin Disco Deep and much more, this guy can't be stopped. 

Sometimes Slow Mo Deep House, with a fantastic vocal, and a piano that will make your heart melt.

On the flip side, we asked the productive Desos to make a remix, and he did that very well, he added a little more basement vibe to it, just ready for the clubs.

Luvless -Sometimes [SLOWDOWN002] OUT NOW!!!

Common Labour is an independent record label based in Helsinki, Finland. Fairly discreet over the internet since its creation in 2013, it has been releasing good physical records consistently over the years, mostly by its head honcho PothOles aka Tuomo Aslak Puranen, as well as a series of various EPs going by the name of "Odd Jobs" featuring some under the radar Finnish producers. Their newest 12" is by PothOles again, the "Polaroids EP", and we were immediately amazed by the quality of this release. Take "Feather Island" premiered here and think Scandinavian deep house with a touch of groove : warm and crisp pads, a solid percussion beat punctuated by a teasing synth bass, this is pure bliss ! Props to Common Labour for this fantastic 12" coming to you on June 6th.

Quintessentials is very happy to present their 50th release! To celebrate this, we invited some buddies to bring the deep beats. And damn they did! Mat Chiavaroli, one of your main artists who is getting stronger and stronger, opens this jubilee release with upbuilding powerful tune, just the tune the get Quintessentials 50 started! Great to see profilic dutch producer Nachtbraker (Heist, Quartet Series) on the label too. We love his style and he will soon be as popular as Ajax Amsterdam! His subtle and dirty “Bronco” fits in perfectly. The definitive club tune that grooves and grooves and grooves comes from Ponty Mython (Dirt Crew). Alexandr is a cool guy and this is defo a cool tune. Last but not least is Soul of Hex (Freerange, Vicario). Our mexican friend is going very raw this time. Yes, why not call it electronic body music (remember?)! As we are gentlemen, we added a Quintessentials sticker in the vinyl edition. Go and get it!

After a brief wait between releases, UK-based deep house label @secret-reels is back with a new record. The imprint bears a sound that is often both bittersweet and pensive -- a shout to the aesthetic of the now defunct Purple Velvet -- and has a serious nose, err, ear for talent. Bordeaux producer Leon Revol (@leonidmusique) is at the helm for SR007, after showing promise with releases on the likes of Pressed for Time and Monologues. It's a five track EP (four originals and a remix) - aptly named Astral Plane - that delves into flavors of the cosmic variety.

The A1 slot is occupied by "Far With A Van", which our friends at Sleazy Beats gave us a peek into a short time ago. It's an airy and smooth jam, layered with synths, perfectly tuned drums and smart samples. The title track, "Astral Plane" accompanies it on the art-side, in all its dusty, spacey glory.

On the flip comes our premiere - Bolting Bits favorite Admin's remix of "Far With A Van". The Bristolian beatsmith managed to find the sample used in the original mix (or something in the exact same key and vein), flipping it into a warm, organic version. Thick and crackly drums hold up the track as melancholy strums and angelic horns adorn the arrangement above a bouncing bassline. Ultimately, the track builds to a nicely executed climax; all samples smartly cued and positioned.  It's a deft re-imagination of the perfectly delicious original take, and repurposes the cut for more sombre, late hours play.

Rounding out the B are "St. James" and "Outside", two heady synth-led deep house groovers that nicely continue the vibe of the effort. Followers of Secret Reels and their polished deep house sound will not be disappointed by this 12" in the slightest. Moreover, young Leon has displayed some serious skill here and will surely be a name to watch in the near future.

With his stripped-down emotional love for music and kind soul, Leipzig-bound beatsmith and all round top geezer Luvless has been steadily cementing his reputation as one of contemporary house music’s finest.

Luvless is known for his work with Rose Records – a label he started with four other friends back in 2011 – and a smattering of appearances on several other labels. slamming down dusty disco edits as well as athomspheric house belters. Since 2017 he’s been focussing on his new project Velours Records. a vinyl outlet for different avenues of the Luvless sound and guest appearances by friends.

His music has been described as sweet, gentle even, but banging at the same time. It sometimes pays homage to the old Kerry days with extra magic dust sprinkled on top.
