Ningún otro músico chileno de la actualidad representa con mayor éxito la figura del trovador que Chinoy. Sus dramáticas canciones acústicas pobladas de imágenes cotidianas, su voz andrógina y la identificación con las calles y cerros de Valparaíso han dado forma a un fenómeno que, desde la marginalidad, ha logrado trascender generaciones y públicos.

Protagonista, junto a nombres como Nano Stern, Camila Moreno, Manuel García o Pascuala Ilabaca, de una activa camada de cantautores interesados en partes iguales por las raíces y la vida en la ciudad, Mauricio Castillo –quien tomó su apodo de su abuelo carpintero- nació en el puerto de San Antonio, pero fue en pequeños bares de Valparaíso desde donde comenzó a expandir su nombre y sus canciones. Como parte de una postal costumbrista porteña, Chinoy atrajo cada vez más auditores a sus presentaciones íntimas, de las que pasó en poco tiempo a escenarios de mayor envergadura gracias a la fascinación que produjo en otro cantautor, Manuel García, quien lo invitó a participar de algunos conciertos en Santiago y Valparaíso.

Gracias a esa vitrina su nombre comenzó a ser frecuente en encuentros musicales en varias ciudades del país, y la prensa especializada y el público no tardaron en ungirlo como una de las voces más auténticas de su generación. A tanto llegaba su fama, que incluso antes de editar su primer disco, Chinoy se había convertido en el músico chileno con más visitas en Myspace y por la red circulaban varios bootlegs con grabaciones realizadas por sus seguidores. La deuda quedó saldada a fines de 2009 con la salida de Que salgan los dragones (Quemasucabeza), debut que concentra su manifiesto de canciones de alta intensidad emocional y que ha sido celebrado unánimemente por la crítica y le ha permitido a Chinoy recorrer Chile, México y España, en un recorrido que no muestra señales de detenerse.

London-based DJ Ella’s passion for music started from an early age. Having trained at the Royal Ballet School, Ella has previously worked as one of the UK’s top commercial dancers. Her dance career has seen her work alongside artists including Kylie Minogue, Calvin Harris and appeared on TV shows including The X factor, Britain’s Got Talent and towards the end of her career dancing in the London Olympic closing ceremonies 2012.

After a highly successful dancing career, self-confessed party girl Ella turned her attention to behind the decks.

Ella currently has London residencies at Madison’s, Bluebird, Gaucho, Nobu, Avenue & The Sky bar at the new Tottenham Stadium.

She is also a firm favorite in the fashion & design world, playing a diverse range of High profile events & A-List parties for brands including Dior, DVF, Porsche, McLaren, and Selfridges.

She has also played Internationally at ‘Shimmy Beach Club’ in South Africa, ‘Nammos’ in Mykonos, Portugal. Monaco, ‘MAXX Royale’ in Turkey & most recently in Bangladesh for NYE. This summer she makes her debut playing in Ibiza at the legendary Pikes.

Ella’s DJ sets greatly depend on the venue & crowd.

Her music is generally a fusion of genres from downtewmpo & lounge to Jazz/Funk/Soul/Disco & House. Her vast music collection has seen her play in both London’s underground circuit and representing the most luxurious brands.
