عمر بن الخطاب هو مسلسل إذاعي تاريخي رائع يروي سيرة وحياة الخليفة الثاني للمسلمين والصحابي الجليل عمر بن الخطاب، تم إنتاج النسخة التلفزيونية بإنتاج مشترك بين مركز تلفزيون الشرق الأوسط (mbc) ومؤسسة قطر للإعلام، يأخذنا المسلسل في رحلة شيقة عبر الأحداث والمعارك التي شهدها عهده والصفات التي اشتهر بها منذ طفولته حتى وفاته.

يقدم المسلسل الإذاعي عمر بن الخطاب تفاصيل غنية ومؤثرة عن حياة هذا العملاق التاريخي وإنجازاته العظيمة. استمع إلى هذا المسلسل المميز لتتعرف على الشخصية الإسلامية البارزة وتستلهم من حكمته وشجاعته وتفانيه في خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين.

من تأليف الكاتب الكبير وليد سيف وإخراج الراحل حاتم علي، يتميز المسلسل بمجموعة من الممثلين الموهوبين مثل أسعد خليفة، غسان مسعود، مهيار خضور ومي سكاف. تحت إشراف الإعلامي عبيدة فرج الله تمت إعادة إنتاجه للإذاعة بواسطة أسماء فرج الله، بينما عمل منصف طالب كمهندس صوت ورؤوف ظاظا في مونتاج العمل.
