Tubes

Inspired by a hike to the Pico Ruivo on the portuguese Island of Madeira with my son David.  When it is cloudy at the sea level and you pass the low level clouds on the way up to the summit then you feel like heaven's gate is opening and you look the from the mountain tops down to the sea of clouds. The spirit of the olympic gods seems so close (except that Greece is not just around the corner ;) ).

Princess Hachikazuki

Verse 1:
Dying, promise, beauty is shame so don't let them see it.
Shying, hidden, Hachikazuki offers her word.
The promise she made will always define her,

I started writing this in the seventies and first recorded it in the eighties. Finally decided to give it a new try. Just piano and vocals, with a touch of acoustic guitar, accordeon, and a few percussions.
