SLIN is one of the best known names and one of the pioneers in Estonian bass/dubstep music. He started
his journey of music back in 2004 (at age 14) when his good friend Quarah (Siege
Kru) invited him to try spin records at his house. The first styles
were drum & bass and ragga jungle. In 2007 Slin heard the first notes
of dubstep and that was the genre that inspired him enough to start
making music himself. Three years later he landed a deal with Sumting
New which is owned by one of the biggest names in dubstep Cotti. In
2011 he signed to another known label, Dubstar. Slin has performed all
over in Estonia and in various cities abroad, for example Helsinki
(Finland), Stockholm (Sweden), Malmö (Sweden), St Petersburg (Russia),
Riga (Latvia), Copenhagen (Denmark), London (UK), Leicester (UK) and various cities in China. 
His bag is always full of unreleased material from the best known
acts and his sets crystal clear. He is the head of 'DUBSHACK', the
longest running dubstep event in Estonia and the founder of the former
DUBSTEP.EE longside Siege Kru. Last year he started his own imprint
'Beaming Light Records' with his good friends Quarah and Abstract Detail, looking
to share the talent of Estonia to the rest of the world and put out
quality music of all styles. You can expect more and more of his own
music in the future.

Claes Rosén and Ola Näslund from Nynäshamn, located south from the city of Stockholm, Sweden, form the duo respectively known as L-Wiz.

Although not from UK Shores like much of the early pioneers of the Dubstep sound, their love for UK Bass Music in the early noughties put them on the path to being one of the early contributors to the emerging genre of Dubstep.  A UK genre which has since gone on to influence many aspects of popular mainstream bass music culture today.

In 2003 they reached out to Caspa, through what was back then the legendary dubplate.net forum. One of the only forums where the early originators and pioneers of the sound were able to connect and share ideas outside of the physical realm of clubland, where CD’s would pass hands as frequently as tracks pass digitally over Bandcamp today.

This fateful interaction, culminated in the first L-Wiz release on what the beginning of the irrefutable Dub Police label (Dub Police 001 – Habibi, Egyptic, Girlfriend). From then on L -Wiz has had a slew of releases on labels such as Universal Music, Sony Music, Kapsize, Destructive Recordings, Sonic Boom, Red Volume and their crew label All Out Dubstep.

Recognition of the Duo’s achievement in this sphere, led to them winning the P3 Gold music prize in 2012 for “Dance of the Year” from the Swedish radio channel Sveriges Radio P3, the first Dubstep act to win this award in at that time was the 9th year in the ceremony’s history.

In 2015 they released their debut Album entitled “The Orange Tree”. A showcase of the duo’s unique style which features 15 tracks. The album is an eclectic combination of ideas which are the culmination of the pair’s passion and sonic history, blended together in a sublime manner which has delighted both fans of old and the new Dubstep “new guard” whom are championing this sound for the future.

In recent years the duo have expanded into the area of label management, with the launch of their record label NA Records in 2018. With this they can continue to provide an outlet for their sound and to use it as a platform to launch other’s whose sounds resonate with their own time and space.
