Adel rapper, LXG Rude (Rude), was raised in the Delwood Acres neighborhood and was heavily influenced by Outkast, Tupac, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z. Rude’s style stays true to the boom bap foundation of hip-hop but also ushers in his on style that seamlessly syncs the old and the new.

With the help of his musically-inclined family members, Rude first started making music in early 2001. They recorded and starting posting songs on Soundcloud and MySpace, which lead to them securing a few local hits in their hometown.

But, it wouldn’t be until the tragic death of one of Rude’s closest friends that would propel him to take his music and craft more seriously. Immediately, Rude’s priorities transitioned, and he began investing into his career. He saved enough money to purchase a beginner’s studio and started spending all of his time in the studio, learning to record himself and working on his craft.

His early mixtapes and freestyles helped make him a household name around his hometown and surrounding counties. Since then, he has recorded over 150 tracks, with these two gaining radio rotation: 9s and She Say (ft B la B).

With the upcoming release of his new single, Too Easy, and the planned Fall release of his first project, Up From Here, 2022 is looking to be a big year for LXG Rude.
