Forward-thinking and adventurous, Jakarta born and raised DJ & Producer Past Futura is easily recognized by his uninhibited approach to dance music. Navigating between multiple genres, his productions could be defined as haunted and euphoric, an intricate mix of deep basses, hard-driven grooves and intense melodies. Cosmosolar's arrival at Logia Records is a fact. The La Plata, Argentina based DJ and producer brings us “Acid Mantra”, a powerful EP, with his signature rhythmic roughness and synthetic dissonances. The release includes remixes by Argentinean Valen Gonzalez, also based in La Plata, and another by renowned producer Zarathustra, from Paris. 
Zaratustra is a DJ/Producer based in Paris, evolving in the indie dance and dark disco genres. Lately, with his latest "White Magic" EP on Ulla Records and releases to come on the Parisian label Skylax Records, he has been blending rock instruments with electronic rhythms, with a focus on 80s-like vocals. As a DJ, he likes to take the audience into a dark and mysterious journey.

The gate sat unhinged amidst the open field. The long grass blew in the wind as the dying sun set across the meadows. Deep in the outer reaches of the German outback nobody could find them here. The woods loomed in the distance where night would fall and the party would gather. They would dance until the small hours before the sun came up and they would be free.

Alien Alien are respected producers Rodion and Hugosan. In the studio they fuse elements of techno, disco, electro to create a uniquely compelling and heady sound, something that is evidenced once again here across their two original cuts. ‘Secret Sabbah’ is an intense and direct cut that marries hypnotic intoned vocals with acidic synths and building drums & percussion to great effect.

Never have we been living more in a culture of self gratification, 'Me Me Me' sums up the society we live in, increasingly dominated by right wing governments vying for control of dwindling natural resources, voted in by increasingly angry people, frustrated by a lack of progress. 
Newcastle's favourite Mexican import Man Power's imprint beautifully bucks the trend with a compilation called  We We We (See what he did there!?)
Featuring 25 tracks which make up a charity compilation to support the 'Help Refugees' charity, with contributions from Bird of Paradise, Juan Maclean, Pional & Shit Robot among others, this could be the best charitable donation you ever make.
It is Club Tularosa's Venturism which gets an airing here. A track which would not sound out of place at the Garage or even Studio 54.
Percussive chimes tiptoe over a rolling disco beat before a live bass muscles in and compels you to move in ways you wouldn't normally be comfortable moving in. Angelic voices, claps and toms channel that urge to shake the hips but when the acid line in the second half kicks in, go on, have a dance, buck the trend and give a little, give a lot. It's for a good cause!

Ranging from palpitating ambience to chuggernaut technoid trips; the stirring 16 track set features late night creations from old friends (Red Axes, Zombies In Miami, Mike Simonetti, Moscoman) new friends (Simple Symmetry, Perel, Julian Stetter, ) and friends that have been Correspondant kindred spirits since day one, but have never had the opportunity to cast their magic on the label… Until now (Black Merlin, MR TC, Yula Kasp & Mi.ro).

As always, the vibe is deep, smoldering, emotive, innovative and unapologetically cosmic as we’re pushed headfirst into Correspondant’s boundary-less soundscape. A false calm blankets the grounds. The rear entry succumbs to the creeping dark as the wind extinguishes the dying light; the old gods reclaiming their fire. Beyond the pacing guards, senses dulled by the piercing air and warm drink, the creaking wood and subdued final breaths evade detection. As the lord delights in the sadistic pleasures that beckon his fate, a foreboding shadow-play of silhouettes shift along the paper screen. Careful footsteps build to a driven sprint and the unmistakable ring of an unsheathed blade. The shriek of the lord’s unwilling companion draws the guards, only to be greeted by the red that paints the room. 

The legendary Lyon-based label Hard Fist, known for their genre pushing output, have shared their latest 10-track compilation, the first digital release on the imprint since it's inception. Taking influence from all eras and all corners of the globe, the release is an eclectic mix of sound, grounded by a shared commitment to experimentalism. The compilation delights in skilfully transitioning the listener from jubilant italo-disco to desolate acid techno with very little notice. Our pick of the litter is Omar Joesoef’s ‘Frantic’, an anxiety-inducing stomper that would be at home on the soundtrack to any 80s slasher flick.
