Renown for his eclectic catalogue and emotive dance production, Rodriguez Jr. accentuates the original track's deep, hypnotic sound. Masterfully playing Eli & Fur’s spellbinding vocals against cascading 303 synth-lines and an all-enveloping low end, Mateu creates a rich soundscape equally suited to both the dance floor and the early-morning walk back home.

Versatile Leeds-based producer Viers showcases multiple sides to his musical persona via his 'Lights Out' EP on the Let's Play House sub-label LPH WHITE, including the high-energy house cut 'Dolphin Telephone' that delivers pure rave "ecstasy". 

Viers has been steadily supplying dancefloors with quality house, techno, electro and breakbeat, either as Viers or under his LK alias as well as with his Hokkaido Dance Club imprint. He's graced a plethora of respected underground labels like Church, Naked Naked, Figure and On Loop, but his latest on LPH WHITE stands out as one of his most diverse releases to date. With deep techno, peak time energy, acidic breaks and emotive house, the 'Lights Out' EP has something for every moment caught in the dance.

Once again, the eight tracks on show represent a comprehensive snapshot of the current state of club music as 2018 fades into 2019, combining established stars of the scene with eye catching newcomers to create a harmonious overall package.

Geneva based, Cadenza producer Quenum reels in the acoustic madness with the elegant, metallic percussion of "Blue Mountai'.'

SPK 'Zamia Lehmanni (Songs Of Byzantine Flowers)'(CSR274CD/LP)

Originally released by Side Effects in 1986, “Zamia Lehmanni” was the third (and final) core SPK album and was Graeme Revell’s first truly solo project. He was in a period of transition, somewhere between the industrial noise of the early years and his later award-winning soundtrack work. On the day before this was first released, this style of music, now ubiquitous (especially in soundtracks), did not exist.

After “Information Overload Unit” cleared a space for subsequent explorations, and the environmental percussion and anchored mutilated sound collages of “Leichenschrei”, the “body without organs” was fully eviscerated. Graeme felt ‘industrial music’ was becoming ossified and needed to be taken into radically new territories: ‘post-industrial’.

The track “In Flagrante Delicto” (mastered as originally intended here) was later used by Revell for his work on the soundtrack for the 1989 film “Dead Calm”, which won him Best Original Score from the Australian Film Institute.

Unavailable in any format since Mute’s 1992 CD edition, we now present this landmark album on newly remastered CD, and on vinyl for the first time since 1986. Approved by Graham Revell, this release comes with new artwork by Abby Helasdottir and is remastered by Martin Bowes (The Cage).

LP on sumptuous 180gm black or limited edition gold vinyl 500 copies, presented in a 350gsm gatefold sleeve.

CD in a 6-panel digipak. The track “The Doctrine Of Eternal Ice” appears on CD only, but is included on the digital download for vinyl.

Both formats feature new liner notes from Graeme Revell, 2019.

A Colourful Storm has been pushing musical rarities and sought-after audio recordings into contemporary atmospheres since 2016. A continuously morphing sonic exploration out of Melbourne, loved by psychonauts throughout. Their latest release sees the label compile three tracks from the vaults of R. Campana & D. Reggi, two producers active in the early 2000s.

A three-track EP revived from a period of European underground club music where breaks, electro and tech-house merged into unexpected new forms. An adventurous collection of stripped-back, kaleidoscopic droid malfunctions written and produced between 2000 and 2003, and mastered by Mike Grinser at Manmade Mastering.

Nadav Spiegel AKA Autarkic and friend Neil Cohen launch their new label Age Of Self - a platform for both music and visual arts - with a three track EP from Nadav himself. Not willing to be constrained by genre, the label won't be navigated by a specific sound, only by what the pair are feeling. For their inaugural release their mission is simple: "to bring some joy and wit to the dark and grim dance floors of our recent times." Our pick is opening track 'A Number By Ilia Gosz' - a hypnotic and melodic cut punctuated by sharp synths and stuttering percussion.
