2018 starts with Wolfram for Public Possession. Maxi Single PP026 features “Automatic Dub”. Powerful new-italo that will heat up any given dancefloor in no time. The "Automatic dub", which is a rework of a well known canadian 70's underground hit, is accompanied by two remixes, courtesy of Samo DJ and Alexi3d. More subtle yet equally effective acid versions including dreamy vocal and stop/pause scat madness.

Young firestarter Kendal lands on Dischi Autunno with his second release, a 4-track elevated burner of contemporary dance music with a distinctive, melodic take on 80's and 90's electronic tropes.

Opener 'Disturbo' blends prime-time piano riffs with insistent breakbeats and uplifting melody. Inspired by horror legend John Carpenter, 'Intacto' takes us further into the wormhole, late 80's new-wave sensibilities in the punchy low-end refreshed by modern production techniques and a euphoric synth line giving a nod to peak-energy trance state dance music.

Heading into the B-side, we're treated to more of Kendal's fine ear for melody and progression with 'Moresko', a meandering tale that allows rhythm and pattern to build and fall away, all the while never losing sight of the release's hallmark uplifting energy. Closing proceedings is the strut and swagger of 'Ritmo Fatale'. Cosmic dancefloor ready, the rolling bassline is beautifully paired with escalating synths and crisp percussion for a hands-in-the-air finale.

Across the four tracks Kendal demonstrates a clear ear for the prime-time, discerning dancefloor: ubiquitous and passionate, his sound is sure to find a home on sound systems around the world.

Combining Tobias Bernsirup's amazing vocals David Jackson's 'Ardore' boasts infectious melodies resulting in a modern Hi-NRG classic. Meanwhile, B-side 'Cosmopop', continues the 80s infusions drawing on celestial warps and quirky pads making for a set staple release from the rising talent.

One year after the landing of his long-awaited eponymous debut album, French producer Zimmer is back with a remix EP to make the goodness last.  Up on duty for this second round of synth-splattered, stargazing goodies, we find Herr Gerd Janson in the saddle for a pair of ‘short' and ‘extended’ dance versions, expert vibist Lauer, Mexican outfit Zombies In Miami, US-based producer Amtrac, with French clique homeboys Kendal and You Man completing the set.

All synths blazing, Gerd Janson gets the ball rolling with a pair of prismatic reworks of ‘Rey’, tailored to take the dancers on a wildly fun and light-hearted space jaunt. No need for an intro, the ’short edit’ goes straight for the audio G-spot and takes no byway to get its point across - pure mellifluous, horizon-widening dancefloor carefreeness on the menu.  The ‘extended version’ is an enhanced summer-flavoured earworm that lays further emphasis on the drums and bass for optimal peak time functionality. French duo You Man pick up the torch with an equally sturdy and emotional reshape of ‘Wildflowers (ft. Panama)’, nicely contrasting Panama’s suave vocals with thoroughly funky bass arpeggios that’ll melt any sweatbox down to the ground. 

In comes Lauer’s reinterpretation of ‘Mouvement’ - a dynamic late-afternoon weapon meshing the hectic bounce of cascading synths and incendiary bass, hazed-out poolside vibes and pop-indebted melodic motifs. The result is a fast-paced heater primed for extended use from sunset to sunrise with vibrant variations in shades throughout. A true solar-powered, mystique-imbued affair, Zombies In Miami’s take on ‘Mayans’ propels us in a fascinating continuum of pulsating rhythms, hyper-modern textures and smouldering ritualistic vibrations.

Adding his spin to ’Techno Disco’, rising talent Kendal with deadeye accuracy, lures you into a junglistic intro to better surprise you with his usual tsunami-like deluge of serpentine keyboard chords and epic build ups.  Topping off this variegated sonic journey, Amtrac takes us on a soul-healing trip with his revisit of ‘Make It Happen’ - laying down a particularly tasty downtempo pop jam for you to chill and dream yourself to sleep with,  with his trademark streamlined, balmy signature.

Having previously displayed his fine sense for building high-octane dance floor workouts via Dischi Autunno and Moustache Records, the Toulouse-based artist takes on Zimmer's 'Techno Disco' and turns it into an incredible roller coaster ride.
