Displaying great versatility, De Angelis demonstrates his unique talent to catch different sounds and vibes within a clearly coherent style. Giving his own unique twist to everything from powerful dance floor killers to deep mind trippers and all that is in between, Antonio De Angelis delivers a timeless EP that is as versatile as the elements it is named after.

After spending a year on the road, experimenting with new sounds and production methods, Abstract Division returns to their home imprint with the release of the “Activated EP.”  Fashioned true to their well known unique balanced style, this three track EP presents its listener with a powerful blend of deep tools and peak-time grooves. It seems like the Italians are well and truly taking over here at
Freerange these days. Following hot on the heels of releases from Stefano Ritteri and Bugsy we now present you with a brilliant three tracker from Rome-based producer Whitesquare. Known for previous releases on 2020 Vision and Toy Tonics Whitesquare has switched up his sound a little to delve deeper into the world of Afro-inspired electronic house which fits perfectly on Freerange and should appeal to fans of Hyenah, Rancido andthe Keinemusik crew.

Title track Traces To Nowhere sets the tone, taking it’s roots from the
precision sonics and reduced approach of Berlin minimalism but infused
with a warm, organic sound palette, resulting in a deep and atmospheric
track which is powerful yet understated. Flipping over we have Understand, another hypnotic mood-setter which utilises a repeating vocal, percussion fills and a killer sub bass to create a track which places all the emphasis on the paired-back groove andsubtle detail.

Rounding off the EP we have Suivre, a conga-heavy drum tool which mashes up live jazz drumming with a driving kick and echoing vocal to great effect. The sense of space makes this one a winner for changing things up in the mix and sounds fearsome on a big system. Three lovingly crafted tracks which bridge the gap between Berlin and Johannesburg, bringing a fresh yet appealing sound to please dance floors worldwide.

We've already received overwhelming support and lovely words on this EP by the likes of Laurent Garnier, Daniel Avery, Maceo Plex, Paco Osuna, Scuba, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Denis Sulta, Perc, Inland, Sasha Carassi, Lele Sacchi, Karim Sahraoui, Dimitri, Boxia and many more...

We’re delighted to welcome 2018 with the second chapter of our various artists volume. 
It kicks right off with the first two tracks coming from Lyase honchos Whitesquare and Nima Tahmasebi.
Whitesquare introduces us to his Techno side with “3nce”, a dark techno track with an addition of trancey elements taking us back to the early progressive trance days. Many big names have been playing this bomb lately so we’ve conclusively decided to release it. 
Coming right next we can finally unveil to you “Unbreakable” by Nima Tahmasebi. His impeccable style catches us again with his hollow melodies and dark grooves. Nima is known to deliver these gems and after a long period of silence. We are super excited to put this out after the golden NT89 days…
The Compilation proceeds with DJ RS’ “What are You Doing?”. We know Risa for quite a long time - having both toured Japan many times, we had the pleasure to meet her as one of Tokyo’s most prolific and eclectic Dj’s. Usually seen djing in Tokyo’s hottest spots like WOMB and Vent, she brings us her new creation which has already captured the attention of many big djs in the field. Maceo Plex showed the track’s magic in his latest set at Printworks in London. A strong techno track with DJ RS hypnotic vocal line guaranteed for the late night vibes. 
The fourth track on the EP is by one of South Korea’s best kept secrets, Messiahwaits. the fast rising producer is getting a lot of attention having recently featured his track on the Fiedel’s Berghain 08 mix on Ostgut ton. We have been following his work for a while now and finally decided to have him on the label with “Resonant Voices”, an hypnotic techno track where he’s showing us his deeper side of production and crystal perfection in sound. dark beats and deep grooves, that’s what we like to call “techno with feelings!”.
VA n2 closes with the super young fast rising dj and producer “Cellini” from Belgium. The new resident of Brussels legendary “Fuse” club delivers a big track named “Minerva”- it’s techno, it’s warm, simple yet effective, his capacity to introduce heavenly sounds to the most deep shades of techno beats and grooves makes this track a unique way to debut his productions on Lyase.
