We invited yab - @yabzy - from the Brussels based music and sound art collective Fenêtre Ovale - @fenetre-ovale - to compile some of the released and unreleased compositions of its core members. Yab masterly weaves between their catalogue of poignantly digitally synthesized materials morphed with electro-acoustic features. Perfectly showcasing collectively what the group is all about, quoting their manifesto: ''... Through the hybridization of different esthetics, we end up with an common esthetic based around perception and mediation, without any pre-established etiquettes.''

Salutingrome graces the second chapter of aural conduct. On ‘Washing Hands’ a few of the artist’s finest crafts and outtakes are assembled, intuitive lyrical music that appeared shrouded in mystery on the internet in recent years. 

The moniker came to life as the aperture for the characteristic experiments written by Zamity Mitelembe. Echoing his activity in theatre, these modernistic tracks express solitude and transgression. Swindling stairwells and winter nights – immerse yourself in an ode to the season of ice and distance.

This month’s Amulet of Tears mix comes from Istanbul-based artist Ekin Fil, which is veiled in reechoing wind, freefalling from misty sky. 

The mix embodies acoustic qualities over tangibility of the spatial structure of turbulence - the sound, which unites phenomena, a vast world in yielding shafts, pliant brims with billows - stream of rush-hour merged into a single point.
