Following up on a strong launch with Braintalk, Human Sense Technology returns for their 2nd entry; this time from the man of many styles, Eastern Zurich's very own Dan Piu, with Modern Utopia Thought EP. Dedicated to his youth and influenced by future visions of creation, the atmosphere and arrangement on this EP permeates into the imagination with colors of suspense, harmony, and spherical textures showcasing the finer lines of deep frequency. SMS began his relationship with music at the age of six, living in a small city in Italy learning the saxophone. Since moving to Rome ten years ago, his progression from there has seen his influences broaden widely, opening his world to the international circuit. Increased communication and dialogue, retrieving ideas and expanding a network of likeminded people has resulted from organising events at Rome’s Goa Club, finding its way back into his music.  

Creating a celestial atmosphere, soundscapes pave the connection between soul and mind. SMS tells the story through a range of input channels covering early electronic music, instrumental, film score, and dreamy progressive sounds. Here, his concept is to illustrate the connection between natural and electronic dimensions. Passing scenes drift into one another, effusing the soft fragrance of passing moments. Calming rhythms move like the environment and its surroundings, rising and falling like the natural breath.

From MARICAS we want to support our local and international community of artists, as well as create content for all our queer fam that is isolated in their homes. We know will get out of this together very soon. In the meantime, we have create this new digital platform called HOUSE OF MARICAS: the art of staying at home, where we will be doing live streamings, digital content, virtual exhibitions, challenges and interviews. Here we will be showcasing different queer / music / art content, created with a bunch of very talented artists / activists, for you to enjoy at home. The aim of this, apart of creating entertainment and learnings for our isolations, is to support local artists, that are losing their jobs due to this crisis. We created this platform to try to help our family of queer artists, that's why we kindly ask you, that if you enjoy our content and can afford it, to please make a donation to our paypal account. This donations will be divided entirely among all the artists involved.

MARICAS - Joe Delon "For Maricas Only Mix"

Alexander Francis is a vinyl enthusiast and dj who’s been part of the Brussels club music landscape for over a decade. Two years ago he decided to concentrate on what he loves best: playing deep, quirky sounds designed for intimate dancefloors, and renamed himself francis99 to mark the turning point. Inspired by the rich and diverse Brussels scene, his style echoes years of listening to a wide variety of musical styles, digging and playing records with friends at parties or during all-night home sessions.
After having hosted the Beyond club nights at Fuse with Pierre, Handless Dj and Walrus, you can now find francis99 on Kiosk Radio, at C12 or playing alongside his pals from Basic Moves.
While clubs are still closed as we wait for the waves of covid-19 to break, this bright mix pays homage to some of francis99’s all-time favourites, shares recent findings and showcases newer music from both local and international friends.
