I had fun with my little "Dj Kicks"des familles, a non-exhaustive 60 minutes, under dub-downtempo-ambient & trip-Hop influences, with timeless and crazy favorites produced between 1994 and 1999.
Apart from a few exceptions, this is definitely not about nostalgia, having discovered most of these tracks yesterday, haha!! I'm joking but only barely.
It is also and above all an opportunity to remind, if necessary, that many productions from this fertile and unapologetic decade still have their place and legitimacy for listening today more than ever.

Pavel Chalupa aka PDCH is part of dj scene in Brno, CZ for over a decade now and is actively performing in various clubs all over the city and often also elsewhere. Pavel is known for his specific "whatever" approach to djing where he rarely prepares his material and rather leaves it for the magic of the moment. You can usually hear him spin tracks ranging from zero to around 140 bpm while keepin' it in various moods of ambient, house, techno, breaks, trance and what nots. For this show he reached for some fresh material & favourites, keeping it pacing around 125 bpm with taste of deeper house moods & little bit of trance vibes.

Crafting soundtracks for chemical dreams as xàr num and twisted underwater dances with the trio Cortex of Light, he’s also one of the mind behind A.R.X. (Ambient Rave eXperience). With mixes aired on NTS, Kiosk, LYL Radio, Rinse FM, Noods, Mutant Radio and tracks released on Artetetra/Communion, Comic Sans, Eska and Pho Bho, in its mutable shapes the OOze has spread over the years in spaces and happenings like Jazz is Dead (IT), Nextones (IT), Codex Club (DE), Cosmic Gathering (DE), Dromoscope X (DE), Outernational Days (RO), Nyege Nyege (UG), Danzas Obsidiana (PT), Club Cocoon (BE).
