I can't be the only MOTHER out there whose offspring fall asleep on the phone when you start "giving advice ?"

 This is a replay/re-recording of a real "conversation that took place..as I found myself singing to myself to a dial tone! This is a narrative with bits of an "Oldie" , l.e., Famous Song that always got me through a few heartaches! So Fellow Soundcloud Writers? FIND A PRETTY PICTURE OF YOUR DAUGHTER AND PUT IT UP THERE WITH "YOUR " ADVICE TOO! Social Media can help them with the bad times, too, now can't it ??? Only used mine so you're recognize ME...(I think my daughter might sue me if I used her's but I'm stll thinkin' about it!)
I'm leaving it   "VOICE RAW" and "Acapella", because poor Adriano is swamped with tracks to assemble for me.All of my other "Oldies" were sent to him acapella, too. because I just can't stand rigid rhythmic patterns  that affectthe meaning (s) of beautiful lyrics. All of his guitar parts were added later (and adjusted to fit my personal needs ?!)Lynda's not experienced in  Audacity's "effects" on the "spoken voice" and that harmony needs a bit of adjustment, but I'm  placing it here after a few emails back and forth with Mark Reitenga, whose writings I find to be extremely beneficial to setting standards for our youth. The lyrics are interchangeable, could be pertaining toa son, just as much as a daughter.   So, here's my " Advice to Our Daughters Suffering Young Heartaches!"I await your opinions, or, hey, your guitar accompaniment, " If the Spirit Moves Ya!" Lynda Faye and Fred Gold, together, formed the Illinois Harmony Connection, at SoundClick, and You Tube. Fred's in Illinois, Lynda in CA, so all of our music duos etc were prepared in CyberSpace, thanks to Audacity! I'm apparently an alto and a soprano-But I attended Pepperdine College on a violin scholarship, and also gave opera a shot, but I gave up on performing it! Allot of my songs are cross-overs, I realize that----Country-Gospel, Classical-Folk, along with a few comical songs. I'm a classical violinist at heart, but taught myself enough guitar with a few great influences advising me here and there (which you can hear on some of my solos!) Ben Benay wanted to teach me some arranging techniques, but I didn't have the tenacity; He said if I didn't study classical guitar, I'd never be able to write more than country folk;Guess he was right, but then the violin influence stepped in- when he heard  my humming of the violin parts, he said, "Lynda, you ARE an arranger ?" ; Paula Drake tried too, for a few years, and she's in her 80's a still goin' strong!  but I kept continuing to plug away at the writing!I had to edit this, sadly, as classmate Fred Gold (Railsback) lost his beloved wife, Ella May, last August. I'm trying to encourage him to keep at that guitar; but I'm sure he's not much in the mood; We dedicated "Ella's Garden", the song we're recorded a few years ago, as Ella's memory -as the video on "I Wanna go Back" was filmed IN Ella's back yard garden, and the song has now taken on special meaning to both of us. Won't be a "replacement for" Fred, but I found both Adriano Fontana's versatility and guitar expertise, and "Ancolies" singing a few of my songs in French for me. Won't be easy to find! I'm seeking to find some competent "versatile" musicians (and composers) who love children and have hopes for music in future generations, and perhaps a strong History Buff, to help with several children's musicals. I welcome other singers to sing my originals---My goal has never been to "be" a great singer; but to connect appropriate singers TO some of my songs: All three genres. My Folky MOR album is "Movin' On" at CDBaby. , I've "been there done that-nite clubs, Holiday Inn lounges from Ca. to Pennsylvania; I refused the Vegas offers! (too much writing to do!)  A songwriter's "Job", like most housewives...is never done, now, is it ?
Pls see the attitude of most of them who are married TO, some of those songwriters, in the "Songwriters' Serenade", or, as I'm always having difficulty finding "concise" titles...." All You Got is Words!" Some of my folky-country is on my album at CDBaby, titled "Movin On"...and I am currently trying to assemble twenty songs for " Friends, Love Songs and Heartaches." Seems viewers liked the " remakes" of the Oldies-I attribute that to Adriano's working his way in and out and around my Acapella tracks, I sent to him; I'm not easy to work with because I have trouble keeping "consistent  rhythms' . Of course Adrian has a word in Italian for that. Maybe HE should solo on a few of my songs and I'll back him on guitar; Course those would then become comedy, yes Adriano ?
