Spanish, Rock and Soul—that is what Texas singer-songwriter Lynette Brehm is about.  Growing up in a family of musicians and a Mexican-born grandmother who sang professionally in the Houston Opera company, singing and being on stage just came naturally.

Her musical career has awarded her the VHI-1 Runner-Up “Song of the Year” contest for her original song “We’re Meant To Be Together”.  Her Christmas song “Alone This Christmas” was top 10 in Italy in 2014 and she has graced the stages in Australia, the streets of New York City and the IH-10 Tour from L.A. to S.A.   “Playing my original music in front of an audience is what I love to do most.  I love to share with people the stories behind the songs and watch them walk with me on the lyrical and musical trip,” says Lynette. 

Lynette is also an entrepreneur having started a local non-profit organization called Music In The Schools.  Through Music In The Schools, she helped raise over $27,000 for local school music programs such as band, mariachi and orchestra.

Lynette has worked with Grammy award winning producers, songwriters and arrangers like Randy Cantor (Ricky Martin, Livin’ La Vida Loca), Greg Curtis (Keysia Cole, Love), Edgar Cortazar (33, Luis Miguel).  Her repertory of music is growing and includes genres of Rock, Adult Contemporary, Contemporary Christian, Latin and Country.
