Here is a quick demo of one song from Sugar Creek. Lucy Hill is my 3X Great-Grandmother. The lyric is just a very literal written description of me finding the homestead site and her grave. I have a hard time playing this without crying. I feel a profound connection to Lucy. I love her and I know she loves me.

This is the premiere piece from a collection of spontaneous compositions which draw inspiration from classical music, jazz, pop-rock songs, and underwater cephalopod life. These unique musical experiments were performed live in Grusin Hall on Steinway's incredible concert grand pianos. Kevin Harbison graciously lended his engineer skills to create the recording. Lynn Drury is a New Orleans based songwriter, originally from the Mississippi Delta.  Her style is influenced from her Country upbringing and mixed in with the funkiness of New Orleans, which has surrounded her for the past 20 years.  Her distinctive voice and songwriting style has been compared to Van Morrison, Lucinda Williams & Neil Young, to name a few.  A sound she calls "NOLAmericana."   
Her 10th album of original songs "High Tide" will drop Feb 2024, with two singles released leading up to Album -  "Live My Life," (Oct '23) and "Love Bomb" (Jan '24)
