Mountain of Wisdom is a song written in the spirit of reminding myself and others to Never Give Up as difficult as life can be through all the loss and suffering we witness and to remember that we can reclaim the light in our self through connection to truth, persistence and faith.

Splinters is a song I wrote seven years ago...I feel deep sorrow for what is happening to the beautiful planet and the animals we share this earth with.  In my view, we are way off track in humanity and we need more voices for the earth to emerge and triumph.  It is my deepest prayer that this planet will heal as we progress and heal history's continual tragedies involving violence and destruction.  Will more human beings  have the courage to look at the darker aspects of our nature in order to heal the destruction we are causing upon the earth which will destroy our own species in the end if we continue at this rate.  I want to look at the Splinters in my own eyes, the ways in which I may be blinded and jaded by trauma and my darkness and move closer to compassion and empathy for all living beings.  As often as I may fail, this is my deepest intention for myself and humanity.
