Born from the warehouses and after-hours of Los Angeles, Isimo is a DJ shaped by the city’s original underground house and techno scene. Coming up through the early ’90s rave scene, Isimo was immersed in a culture where long nights, deep grooves, and sound-system pressure mattered more than polish or pretense. Those formative years extended beyond the city — into the desert — including legendary multi-day excursions like High Tide, a four-day journey into Death Valley defined by endurance, openness, and music played without limits.
Over the years, Isimo has played a range of storied warehouse parties, desert gatherings, and intimate club nights across LA, developing a reputation for long-form, mood-driven sets that reward patience and trust. This includes serving as a resident DJ for The Den, a private, invite-only party series known for its deep selections, trusted dance floors, and tight-knit community. As an integral member of DeeperMoods, Isimo curated gatherings centered on atmosphere, connection, and deep and minimal musical journeys, while also holding down nights at Revolt and playing for respected promoters such as Incognito and LoveFix.
Isimo’s sound moves fluidly through deep house, techno, and left-field electronic territory — guided by feel rather than formula. Each set unfolds as a slow build, designed to pull dancers inward and keep them locked. Whether in a warehouse, under the desert sky, or through headphones, Isimo plays with intention — honest music, for people who come to listen.
