The founder of 8am Exposure Career Advancement Company. Originally From Shelby, NC born on October 30, 1989, L.T. (Lyrical Talent) Has performed on major tour events, traveled the country assisting entertainers rise, and always keeps God as his foundation. Bringing his quick lyricism and witty punchlines, L.T.’s craft stemmed from his constant lyrical quoting of influences such as Tupac, Drake, and T.I. His own gifts were not put to the test until around his senior year of high school in 2008 when friends and family began to insist he spit some of his own lyrics. L.T. or One Take Talent began being known for his ability to write and record his songs in just one time through. He grew up listening to and reciting Bone Thugs n Harmony and Twista lyrics. This gave L.T. a broad range of versatility, as an unsigned artist, being able to rap at a very quick pace and still be clearly understood. Using nothing but his Gateway notebook and a basic microphone, L.T. began free-styling and producing his own music. Being no stranger to sharp flow and punchlines, it was no surprise that free-styling came natural. However, writing wasn’t initially a strong point. Over time this only increased in skill level as L.T. will now tell you that his writing is just as strong as his freestyling abilities. He likes to call what he does “CONCEPT RAP” which he uses to show off strong lyrical ability with a topic not usually portrayed. Hence the genre Concept rap. L.T. also has recently began to record/edit various footage for his Lyrical Television which gives insight on “the ups, the downs, the money, the shows, the conflicts, the resolutions and the first hand view of his drug, that is the music industry” as he explains it. This Lyrical Television includes merchandise, sales of footage, incorporating fans into EVERYTHING and allowing aspiring artist/entertainers from ages 13-26 to view and be included in the entertainment world of their dreams. “You Gotta See This!!” is his motto for it. With a fresh style to bring to the table, L.T. is hungry and more than ready to be heard.
