Don Pepe - Sunrise @ Transylvania Calling 2019 (DJ-set)

This Random Records episode features PEPE'S BODEGA and this excerpt of a live recording from the Mindgamers Festival in Sweden in August 2022. It contains a few tracks from their upcoming full-length album "La Chorrera", scheduled for Winter Solstice in December on Mark Day's Muimina Sounds. Since 2016 Nimbus and Don Pepe have routinely met up in the studio to translate their transcendental life experiences into words and sound. Influenced by nature and its medicine, various religious and philosophical traditions, and a bottomless library of musical history, they love exploring new territories with their music. Nimbus' background as an audio engineer and Don Pepe's vast experience behind the decks, partly as an ambassador for Random Records, has resulted in a slick yet emotive sound aimed for an adventurous dancefloor.

Molchun is Evgeniy Donskoy from Moscow, infamous for his signature breed of deep psychedelic trance with atmospheres ranging from swampy to spacey, toying with the listener's psychic construct. With a novel approach of minimalistic sound design, slippery jazzy textures and freaky sample use to direct mindboggling narratives that puzzle as much as they please the listener, Molchun has created a very isolated and unique style of deep and introspective soundscapes to get lost within.

Morning Mist

A Forest and Darkpsy DJ/Producer from a Galaxy so beyond infinity not even Buzz Lightyear could find it, crash landed in Cape Town, South Africa many moons ago and has been there ever since, infecting the humans with his otherworldly outdoor sounds. 

After traveling light through the cosmos, he found himself in the Milky-Way galaxy on the third rock from the sun, engaging in the psychedelic culture. The longer he spent with the psychonauts on the planet, the stronger his urge to bring Alien elements from home and combine them with the organic mass that is Earth grew.

Starting to mix Forest and Darkpsy in 2017, the extra-terrestrial project of Lysergic Babble began to feed a foresty frequency into the ears of the Earth humans.

Towards the end of 2018 he began playing around with Alien communication devices in order to spread messages across the cosmos with his own unique flavour and is quickly pushing to get the "Forest" sound behind his composition.

With the unpredictable basslines, twisted, organic sound effects and atmospheric whispers which his style holds, he is sure to keep you intrigued and leave psychedelic soundscapes oozing through your psyche.
