For its first release in its own name on SF Records, Ethereal Structure invites us to discover strange worlds.

First stage of the journey, Delphini B deploys its aquatic landscapes on a long introductory sequence before giving way to an energetic rhythm punctuated by organic breaths.
Second stage: Gliese 436b. A world that we imagine underground and abundant. A heady rhythm and gimmick are supported by intersecting textures like streams of creatures. Invited to the remix, Tolkachev extends the stage even further to go further in these sounds that we imagine coming from microscopic insects by applying dub techniques.
Herculis B is probably the most technological planet of this trip. A world-machine, with implacable sequences. A tension is developed throughout the piece until its climax.

Dans ce troisième volume de "M.A.D Brains Series", nous recevons Tijo Aimé, qui , comme dans les deux premiers volumes réponds à nos questions !

🗣️ Comment as tu découvert la musique électronique ? Et depuis combien de temps mixes tu ? 
- J’ai découvert la house music par le biais de la Hip-House, les remix qu’il y avait sur les faces B des disques Hip Hop en 1989 comme ceux de Jungle Brothers et bien d’autres de la Native Tongue...Mantronix aussi , Precious. Mais clairement à cette époque je considerai tout ça comme du hip-hop. Puis après avec plus de précisions en voyant les danseurs dans les 1ers titres les plus connus comme Crystal waters / Robin S / Ruffneck...
Radio Nova a vraiment jouée dans mon éducation au rap Américain et Français , avec mes grands frères on enregistrait toutes les émissions. C’est comme ça que j’en suis venu à découvrir l'émission de Dj Deep en 1995-96. Cela était une base fondamentale pour moi en terme de direction, la sélection était différente des autres émissions que l’on pouvait entendre ailleurs.
- Je mixe réellement depuis 1998, mon frère était DJ, j’ai appris en le regardant.

🗣️ Quel est ton meilleur souvenir dans musique électronique ? 
- Mon meilleur souvenir est aux soirées Shelter en 1998 à New York, Timmy Regisford aux platines. Tout le monde chante et danse, le son est puissant et de qualité, les lumières... L’ambiance était ruff les gens savaient pourquoi ils étaient la, bref la culture à sa source.

🗣️ Quelle est ta plus grande inspiration ? 
- Je n’ai pas une plus grande inspiration, mais des inspirations quand je vois des DJ de Talents ou des références comme : Joe Claussel, Timmy Regisford, Theo Parrish et bien d'autres qui te font voyager sans que tu le sentes dans différents univers et te refont découvrir des classiques d'une autre manière

🗣️ Et enfin ton morceau du moment ? 
- Ahhh je n’ai pas de morceau du moment mais des morceaux...Bon j’en choisi un, un peu de douceur :

Pour ce cinquième volume de "M.A.D Brains Series", nous recevons Joss Moog, qui était également notre invité sur un précédent événement au Cargö !
Comme d'habitude il répond à nos questions afin d'en savoir un peu plus sur lui.

🗣️ Comment as tu découvert la musique électronique ? Et depuis combien de temps mixes tu ? 
- J’ai découvert la musique électronique avec le courant de la French Touch dans les années 90, celle qui tapait dans les samples et sonorités Funk / Disco ou Acid-Jazz et les artistes, albums et tubes qui y sont associés : Bangalter et une de mes premières claques avec On Da Rocks, Etienne De Crécy, Mr Oizo, Demon, Alan Braxe, St Germain…

- Je mixe depuis que je me suis mis à la production c’est-à-dire vers 2007 lorsque j’ai sorti mon 1er EP « Room 25 » sur Robsoul.

🗣️ Quel est ton meilleur souvenir dans musique électronique ? 
- Quand j’ai envoyé un track de Fouk à un label pensant que c’était un track à moi ; quand, à Berlin, le gars a allumé la machine à fumée et n’est jamais revenu et quand Adrien du Djoon m’a confirmé pour The Djoon Experience 2019.

🗣️ Quelle est ta plus grande inspiration ? 
- Des artistes à double facette comme Soundstream / Soundhack ou Bangalter, capables aussi bien de captiver l’oreille avec de belles harmonies Funk / Disco que des tracks durs avec des sons plus brefs. 
Quel que soit le rendu, le choix et le travail des sons ou des samples utilisés est toujours top. 
Un autre exemple et une admiration pour le groove de producteurs comme Joey Youngman ou Jason Hodges.. Si vous avez l’occasion d’écouter le « Double Stacked » de Youngman.. Je trouve le beat et l’edit du morceau incroyables.

🗣️ Et enfin ton morceau du moment ? 
- Le Dice #2 d’Around7 sorti sur Ondulé début Mars. 
Il y a des tracks que je kiffe à la 1ère écoute mais dont je vais me lasser assez vite et d’autres que je capte pas forcément tout de suite et qui prennent du « sens » sur le long terme. 
Le Dice #2 fait partie de la seconde catégorie et j’aime beaucoup cet effet « différé », Kiss Cool.
