Bondage-Music head honchos Pornbugs prep the labels next release for early April comprising three original tracks and a remix from Mihai Popoviciu. Since 2006, German duo Pornbugs have been pushing their minimal yet ambitious dance floor orientated house music through clubs across the globe, with their label Bondage-Music acting as a catalyst for forward thinking music. Bondage-Music also works as an outlet for other talented producers including Romania’s Mihai Popoviciu and inmotion music signee Markus Homm to further develop their sound. Fresh from a string of early 2017 digital releases from Frink and Sous Sol, April sees Bondage-Music’s first vinyl offering of the year, kick started with the subtle and melodic cut “When You Are gone“, which takes a deep groove and laces it with a plethora of soft synths and atmospherics. Mihai Popoviciu then reworks “When You Are gone“ into a different entity, rewiring a headier groove into the track with raw-defined hats, building further tension with tight synth stabs and ethereal pads. Vinyl Only Track “Innocent“ then takes tribal tinged percussion to new depths, fuelling it with booming kicks and flourishing chords, further intensified by swirling vocals. A pure dub aesthetic then shines through “Maritza“, as saturated drums and a rumbling low end provide the skeleton for swelling synths to meander alongside spiritual vocals, closing out the package.

The long running and influential Global Underground label is back with more brilliance, this time in the form of a superb Just Her original and a remix from AudioJack.

Fall From Grace is a deeply emotional track with spine tingling vocals that really make a mark. The pained synths all around and the bubbling drums and bass all cast a real spell and are sure to mark a standout moment in any set.

Audiojack have long been house mainstays, well travelled DJs and have a fine discography on vital outlets like 2020Vision, Hot Creations and Leftroom. Their version is raw and more physical, with chunky drums but also plenty of the musical and emotional class of the original.

A really fine release from a label that never fails to deliver.

My great passion is dancing. I started mixing during the pandemic in June 21 and now I play for many radio stations, including Radio Kosmos Berlin, Techneck Techno & Tech House, Profound Radio UK and 365 FM Radio. Guest mix on NDC Radio UK. I love house music in all its genres and of course techno. I express my love of music in my sets, which are always very impulsive and full of energy. Best known for the track "Body Language" and the remake of Laurie Andersons "O Superman". Bodmer and his former band partner Philipp Jung, along with DJ T. and Booka Shade are the founders of Get Physical, which became one of the most popular dance labels in the world. M.A.N.D.Y. subsequently provided mixes for other labels, including „At the Controls“,  „Fabric“ and „Renaissance“. Following collaborations with Bob Moses, and Dubspeeka, as well as remixes for Roxy Music, Röyskopp, The Knife and Underworld to name just a few. The long-awaited debut artist album Double Fantasy was released, incl. collaborations with the iconic Jungle Brothers and the classical and experimental pianist Francesco Tristano . 2018 signaled the beginning of a new era for M.A.N.D.Y, since Patrick Bodmer will continue to fly the flag under M.A.N.D.Y. without his former partner and childhood friend Philipp Jung, who started his solo project „Forever Jung“.
