▌I Hat sich deine Art und Weise und vielleicht auch dein Stil Musik zu machen geändert?
Ja ich denke in diesen fast 30 Jahren hat sich meine Art und Weise schon mehrmals geandert da sich die Technologie sehr schnel nach vorne bewegt . Musikalisch war ich schon immer sehr offen . Ich spiele gerne verschieden Genres und probiere auch gerne mal etwas anderes aus.


▌II Verwendest du neue Technologie oder bist du eher klassisch unterwegs?
Ich verwende sehr gerne neue Technologien jedoch bin ich sehr froh dass ich gewisse alte Angewohnheiten sehr pflege . Ich mag eigentlich beides.

▌III Wie sieht ein normaler Tag bei dir aus? Von deiner Morgenroutine, Arbeit und deinem Abend?
Ich stehe meistens um 6 Uhr auf und arbeite 3 bis 4 stunden im Studio . Morgens geht das immer am besten wenn mein Kopf frisch ist. Um 10 Uhr bis Mittags gehe ich jeden Tag ins Fitness . Dieser Ausgleich brauch ich . Das mache ich allerdings erst seit 2 Jahren . Nach der Mittagspause erledige ich auch kleine Dinge im Studio . Abends triff ich mich gerne mit Freunden jedoch bin ich um 22 Uhr schon meistens platt.
Diese gesunden Angewohnheiten werden natuerlich am Freitag sowie Sastag nicht gepflegt :-) .

Born and raised in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, Stephen always knew he was meant to be an artist. From hosting his very own radio show called CONTACT on the most popular radio for electronic music in Bulgaria, to being a resident DJ of Yalta Club & Solar Festival to playing alongside the biggest artists in the world, he always aims to perform at his highest level, but never stops looking for an elevation kick.
 
Stephen developed his style by actively listening to and studying electronic music’s history and its origins. His style varies in between House and Techno, but never loses the sense of groove which he describes as the essential component of any composition. Stephen considers himself a creative innovator, which organically led him to follow the path of studying music production. Never satisfied with the current, he took the next step, focusing all of his efforts and dedication, towards the creation of his music studio. 

Stephen is an artist, whose ambitious approach and vision constantly evolve. His artistic journey is far from complete, as he’s eager to pursue a diversity of musical destinations. Deeply obsessed with meaningful music and space, he always explores the mysterious and unknown universe of sound. It was back in May of 2014 that Sierra Sam and Kink brought nearly an entire studio worth of analog gear down to Watergate for an extended live jam on the water floor. Over the course of three days the two wizards constructed an extended array of vintage synthesizers, drum machines and effects units in preparation for their exhibition of unheard grooves and melodies. Both Sam and Kink are highly acclaimed analog artists and both have leagues of faithful followers as is apparent in their hefty tour schedules and Kink's rise to #1 on this years Resident Advisor Top Live Acts poll, so it was a no brainer to have the two join forces for a night of purely improvised dance music mania. After talking with Sam and Kink, we came to the conclusion that the best way to deliver this was to let the people have the original performance so they can relive the show in all it's authenticity. After careful deliberation and attention to detail, the duo have cut a portion of the original set and re-edited small bits for your maximum listening indulgence, so, turn it on and turn it up. It's time to relive a moment of pure innovation and class when two of the finest live performers united as one. We hope you enjoy and a big thank you to Sierra Sam, Kink and everyone who danced on that historic day back in 2014.

Berlin based label-owner, DJ, producer and Promoter.
Best known for the track "Body Language" and the remake of Laurie Andersons "O Superman". Bodmer and his former band partner Philipp Jung, along with DJ T. and Booka Shade are the founders of Get Physical, which became one of the most popular dance labels in the world. M.A.N.D.Y. subsequently provided mixes for other labels, including „At the Controls“,  „Fabric“ and „Renaissance“. Following collaborations with Bob Moses, and Dubspeeka, as well as remixes for Roxy Music, Röyskopp, The Knife and Underworld to name just a few. The long-awaited debut artist album Double Fantasy was released, incl. collaborations with the iconic Jungle Brothers and the classical and experimental pianist Francesco Tristano . 2018 signaled the beginning of a new era for M.A.N.D.Y, since Patrick Bodmer will continue to fly the flag under M.A.N.D.Y. without his former partner and childhood friend Philipp Jung, who started his solo project „Forever Jung“.
