Anims is thrilled to extend a warm welcome to Channan Hanif as the newest addition to our family. We kick off the year on a high note with the release of a two-track EP from this multifaceted and talented producer hailing from New York.

Channan, not only an outstanding vocalist but also a successful actor, presents "Gimme Some," a track that pulsates with a powerful and energetic baseline, accompanied by a captivating house groove. Fabulous stabs and expertly chopped vocals add to the allure, ensuring a non-stop dance experience from start to finish.

On the flip side, we encounter "Got This," a darker and more eclectic piece that maintains a stellar, groovy foundation of modern house. Moody stabs and a substantial baseline contribute to a composition that keeps us engaged for an extended period.

Best known for the track "Body Language" and the remake of Laurie Andersons "O Superman". Bodmer and his former band partner Philipp Jung, along with DJ T. and Booka Shade are the founders of Get Physical, which became one of the most popular dance labels in the world. M.A.N.D.Y. subsequently provided mixes for other labels, including „At the Controls“,  „Fabric“ and „Renaissance“. Following collaborations with Bob Moses, and Dubspeeka, as well as remixes for Roxy Music, Röyskopp, The Knife and Underworld to name just a few. The long-awaited debut artist album Double Fantasy was released, incl. collaborations with the iconic Jungle Brothers and the classical and experimental pianist Francesco Tristano . 2018 signaled the beginning of a new era for M.A.N.D.Y, since Patrick Bodmer will continue to fly the flag under M.A.N.D.Y. without his former partner and childhood friend Philipp Jung, who started his solo project „Forever Jung“.
