Biography from M@Mosphere Thorsten Barthel
M@Mosphere real name: Thorsten Barthel, born in 1976 in Wilhlemshaven grown up in Hamburg.
At the Age of 6 years he began the classical piano training till 1988. Shortly thereafter he bought his first Synthie Casio CS1 and it was a component of his repertoire, to feelings and emotions better to express.
1991 began the DJ-time in “Haus der Jugend” (Hamburg), after this in the “Resident Twi-light” (Hamburg) from 1993 till 1995. In this time (1994) he make his first expierence in the field Projectmanagement as Lightdesigner (Programming and Conception at light-agency and laser projects), Work as Projectmanager by Procon Multimedia AG from 1996 till 2004 in the Field lighting for example by Dome, Wetten dass…, Echo.
2004-2009 he has many Productions collaborated and at the same time he training to Audio engineering at SAE completed. The Start with the own radioshow weekly for Facebook-Radio began in the year 2010 in as Guest: DJ Cat Carson, Dino Mileta, Josh Bellmondo, Chriz von Oz were heard. The DJ-Comback starts in Marakesch at the same year and on August 2010 2 Weeks were announced in Marakesch in “La casa”. Since September 2010 he is Resedent-DJ in “Express” in London.

M@Mosphere, bürgerlicher Name: Thorsten Barthel, 1976 in Wilhelmshaven geboren und in Hamburg aufgewachsen. Im Alter von 6 Jahren begann er die klassische Klavierausbildung,
die bis 1988 anhielt. Kurz danach wurde der erste Synthie Casio CS1 ein Bestandteil im Repertoire,
um von der Notenabspielschiene auf die eigenen Klänge zu gelangen damit Gefühle und Emotionen besser zum Ausdruck gebracht werden konnten.
1991 begann dann das DJ-Sein im Haus der Jugend (Hamburg),
danach im Resident Twi-Light (Hamburg) von 1993 bis 1995.
In dieser Zeit (1994) machte er die ersten Erfahrungen im Bereich Projektmanagement als Lightdesigner (Programmierung und Konzeptionierung bei Lichtarchitektur und Laserprojekten).
Bei der Firma Procon Multimedia AG arbeitete er als Projektmanager von 1996-2004,
dort im Bereich Lichttechnik verantwortlich wie z.B. für Dome, Wetten dass…, Echo.
Von 2004-2009 hat er in vielen Produktionen mitgewirkt und gleichzeitig von 2006-2008 eine Ausbildung zum Audioingenieur bei SAE abgeschlossen. Der Start mit der ersten eigenständigen wöchentlichen Radioshow für Facebook-Radio begann im Jahr 2010, in der Gäste wie:
DJ Cat Carson, Dino Mileta, Josh Bellmondo, Chriz von Oz zu hören waren.
Das DJ-Comeback startete in Marakesch im selben Jahr und im August 2010 waren dann 2 Wochen Marakesch im „La Casa“ angesagt. Seit September 2010 Resendend-DJ im „Express“ in London.
