Among lustful the eyes and indifferent palms
Among din of the city cafes.
Among those, who change love with the commonplace sex
How it’s strange -
But I seek Your likeness.

Though I know that my stepping Your way is the most
Wasted thing under Moon and the Sun,
I will dream for a while: let the lanterns the old
Change Your full face
With profile of mine.

Neither with expectation and triteness of hopes
Nor with knotty resounding speeches
I will ask You to dance the superb Vienna Waltz
At the park where
I’m poet and teacher.

Let You dance with me there. I will not reach Your eyes
By my rapturous gaze of dark-brown.
And I also will not break Your mysteries’ ice
Those which You keep
Confided with no-one.

I will leave on Your shoulders my breathing the light
Nor I’ll touch any cheek by my hairs.
I will stop the invisible thrill in the night
Giving no answer
To tenderness.

You are simply like Spring, as the Summertime grief
When the rain has in autumnly risen.
And Your chest: it reveals the gold pectoral’s leaf
Of the undecayed
Wisdom and reason.

It’s not easy to me to come up with Your tops,
It is hard to come down with Your lowlands.
What a pitty that men understand to my drop
Me as carefree Coquette
From the fallens.
