To us ElPeche seems like a colourful bird in the south-american downbeat scene. Living in London, he is spreading his positive energy with his happiness and open/kind of his personality, making europa a bit more 'caliente' and colourful!!!

This hybrid mixtape was recorded as a journey into the tropical electronic universe as a DJ set with synth improvisations featuring a selection of Elpeche’s favourite names in the scene as well as a number of originals, remixes and edits of his own.

Let me take you on a journey to far-off distant lands...

Just a short time before my set in Sisyphos I digged into old turkish psych, folk and other oriental vinyl gems. Since I was told to play music for relaxing rather than dancing, I thought this was the perfect occasion to play some of the stuff I found. Here finally is the recording of my afternoon set!

It was starting to look like this set was never going to see the light of day. Had my head down for a while, but here it is, my set from the Thursday night under the God Said No pyramid at Blazing Swan 2019. Always my favourite place to play every year. Went for a bit more chunk with the sounds this year, was a lot of fun. Always such a special moment to drop an all time classic track towards the end, who knows which one it is?
