2023 was a special year for me as Mental Traveler. Even though the project has been running for a little longer, this is the year, when the first MT's full length album with fourteen compositions have seen the daylight thru DeeperSoundscapes imprint. Apart from Mental Traveler's ambient set on Ambient Stage (which will be also uploaded later), I had a great pleasure to perform for you officialy first Mental Traveler LIve Act this summer at Uroczysko Festival (IMHO currently the best Polish festival representing the broadly understood psychedelic culture 🕉 ).
Peformance happened right after legendary Lauge & Baba Gnohm at Chill Stage (in Polish called Czajnik, eng. Teapot) placed in amazingly magical spot, sourranded by the forest with fantastic installations, lights and unique atmosphere 🍃🌀🌲 
Thanks to all who came and took this sound trip in picturesque forest of Uroczysko, you’ve created really wonderful energy and atmosphere around the stage, what happened there was amazing, just thinking about those moments I still have goosebumps ✨ Thank you for magic time together and hats off to the Uroczysko Festival team for making it happen 🙏

The Witch doctor has always been passionate about music, starting from the age of 3 when she first heard music and was gifted her first drum set, also at school age where she performed in the school orchestra but upon finding Dance Music in the 90's she pursued her wish to DJ. It is only in the last 7 years that she has fully dedicated herself to dj'ing and later producing psytrance/psychill/Ambient and Chillout. She has been playing Psytrance since the late 90’s starting with Vinyl but a Scientific career and education mean’t focus had to wait until finances and a time came.

The rewards have been lovely this last 5 -7 years - from playing with and working with renowned artists to having weekly radio shows on multiple stations. The pandemic may have temporarily stopped her from playing at parties and festivals, but it has also allowed her creative spirit to flourish and commit even more time for producing mesmerising tracks and mixing via the airwaves. The result of this dedication speaks volumes and long may it continue. The Witch Doctor achieved a Scholarship for her Music degree of which she continues to study, loving every minute at the prestigious Point Blank Music School. The Witch Doctor's journey with music production has been a creative and inspiring story. With her passion for Psychedelic Trance deeply rooted, the last 5 years have been dedicated to crafting tracks and sets that maintain high energy along with beautiful melodic vibes.

The path to building her own studio began in France, and after returning to the UK in 2014 she hasn't looked back. The last five years have seen her appear on radio stations Worldwide, spinning psytrance music to the masses. The scene has welcomed The Witch Doctor with open arms, and she's had the pleasure of collaborating with other talented producers as well as playing sets for incredible stations. Hello i am Samuel from Austria and my musical journey started 10 years ago and i had no musical background, so i had to learn everything from the beginning.  Many years passed since then and i had serveral musical projects to this date in the styles of Hardcore/ Techno, DnB, Hip Hop and also first steps in Black Metal. 
These influences helped my form my musical style which i produce nowadays.

So i find myself now in experimental, glitchy and psychedelic Downtempo music with influneces of different genres and i really love to make trippy, complex and envolving tracks with the focus on sounddesign and experimentation. 
My main goal is to break boundaries and create something out of the box².

Trala Lama, a veteran of the global chillout music scene is presently incarnated in The Netherlands.
