Usually you can’t put ƘÏÐ ƉΔŦΛ in a specific genre as he is producing several styles of music. But in this case he is showing us his signature sound he developed over the last 15 years. You could describe his music as electro-acoustic compositions as there is no good name for his kind of music. With a combination of acoustic Instruments, electronic beats and soundscapes his signature sound is melancholically melodic but yet unusualy rhythmic. Growing up with IDM, Brokenbeats and Folk Music this EP stirs it all up and combines it to something new.

Like the stars that outline a constellation, this is a collection of tracks that sketches something while not quite being it. 

This mix not only celebrates nearly 30 years of DnB history, but also marks the first original Kid Kameleon mix in 8 years. I wanted to put it together to deconstruct what the genre has become to me, a sort of rhythmic skeleton to experiment with. A few of these tracks I've held on to for nearly a decade, though most are from the last couple years — the genre is alive and well and blazing the same science-fictional paths it always has. As everyone knows by now, a terrible war is taking place in Ukraine. We are neither billionaires, nor soldiers, nor political leaders, nor NATO decision makers, nor superheroes, ...nor NGOs. We are only musicians and artists from different backgrounds (France, United States, Russia, Belarus, Germany, Belgium) and, unfortunately, we have neither the means to stop the war, nor to support each person in difficulty. Even if we frankly deplore it, we can at least try to support, on our scale and directly our Ukrainian family, the artists' collective and music label "Modern Stalking Audio" (based mostly in Kharkiv), by giving them the means to get to safety, and to provide for their basic needs in these incredibly difficult times.
 
Normally, these beautiful beings give everything they have to organize quality events and fight to enhance culture in Ukraine. 
We are several artists, present on this compilation, to have noticed it when we were invited to perform there, in Kharkiv, Odessa, sometimes even several times for some.

Today, most of our friends are either refugees where they can (impossible for men aged 18-60 to leave the territory), or fighting in their own way and helping, at the risk of their lives, in the big cities and borders. 

After having helped them according to our means, we release this compilation for all those who wish to support them. Every donation, even the smallest, will be welcome. We do not pretend (and do not have the means) to do a work comparable to the Red Cross or other NGOs, However, all the gains resulting from these steps will be transferred directly by bank transfer to our friends to help them on our scale, just like those resulting from the associated Gofundme. 

 "A drop of water in an ocean... but what is an ocean if not a multitude of drops" 

It should also be noted that the international humanitarian aid remains for the moment essentially at the border and does not arrive (or very little) in the big cities which are under the bombardments...

What will the funds from this various artists' compilation and fund be used for? 

Humanitarian needs: rental of temporary accommodation; food in the current conditions of food shortage during this period of war and post-war (bread, chocolate, vegetables, fruits, etc.) ; medicines to keep people and their loved ones healthy; essential products for babies and young children (baby food, child care products, etc.); expenses for evacuation services (public transport tickets, private drivers, accommodation in host countries, etc.).

Maura Star was one of the brightest, considerate, thoughtful humans I've had the honor to call friend. She was an artist, writer, dancer, DJ, and mother of a beautiful baby boy... Sadly, she developed terminal cancer and left us far too soon.....

To celebrate her extraordinary life and gifts, we gathered at Kalani on Big Island (a place she called home) and I was asked to share music. This is the recording of that evening.

Let's never forget the example she set and the love she shared, because at the end of it all, thats what matters most; Love.
