Usually you can’t put ƘÏÐ ƉΔŦΛ in a specific genre as he is producing several styles of music. But in this case he is showing us his signature sound he developed over the last 15 years. You could describe his music as electro-acoustic compositions as there is no good name for his kind of music. With a combination of acoustic Instruments, electronic beats and soundscapes his signature sound is melancholically melodic but yet unusualy rhythmic. Growing up with IDM, Brokenbeats and Folk Music this EP stirs it all up and combines it to something new.

Like the stars that outline a constellation, this is a collection of tracks that sketches something while not quite being it. 

This mix not only celebrates nearly 30 years of DnB history, but also marks the first original Kid Kameleon mix in 8 years. I wanted to put it together to deconstruct what the genre has become to me, a sort of rhythmic skeleton to experiment with. A few of these tracks I've held on to for nearly a decade, though most are from the last couple years — the genre is alive and well and blazing the same science-fictional paths it always has. Comme tout le monde le sait maintenant, une terrible guerre se déroule actuellement en Ukraine. Nous ne sommes ni milliardaires, ni soldats, ni dirigeants politiques, ni décideurs de l'OTAN, ni super-héros, …ni ONG. Nous ne sommes que des musiciens et artistes de différents horizons (France, États-Unis, Russie, Biélorussie Allemagne, Belgique) et, malheureusement, nous n'avons ni les moyens d'arrêter la guerre, ni de soutenir chaque personne en difficulté. 
Même si nous le déplorons franchement, nous pouvons au moins essayer de soutenir, à notre échelle et directement notre famille ukrainienne, le collectif d'artistes et label de musique "Modern Stalking Audio" (basé surtout à Kharkiv), en leur donnant les moyens de se mettre à l'abri, et de subvenir à leurs besoins essentiels en ces temps incroyablement difficiles. 
 
En temps normal, ces êtres merveilleux donnent tout ce qu’ils ont pour organiser des événements de qualité et se battent pour valoriser la culture en Ukraine. 
Nous sommes plusieurs artistes, présents sur cette compilation, à l’avoir constaté quand nous avons été invités à nous produire là-bas, à Kharkiv, Odessa, parfois plusieurs fois pour certains. 

Aujourd’hui, la plupart de nos ami.e.s sont soit réfugié.e.s où ils le peuvent (avec pour interdiction pour les hommes de 18-60 ans de quitter le territoire), soit en train de lutter à leur manière et d’aider, au péril de leur vie, dans les grandes villes et frontières. 

Après les avoir aidé.e.s selon nos moyens, nous sortons cette compilation pour toutes celles et ceux qui souhaitent les soutenir. Chaque don, même le plus petit, sera le bienvenu. Nous n'avons pas la prétention (et n'avons pas les moyens) de faire un travail comparable à la Croix-Rouge ou d'autres ONG, cependant, tous les gains issus de ces démarches seront reversés directement par virement bancaire à nos amis pour les aider à notre échelle, tout comme ceux issus de la cagnotte associée. 

"Une goutte d'eau dans un océan... mais qu'est-ce qu'un océan sinon une multitude de gouttes"...  

À noter également que l'aide humanitaire internationale reste pour l'instant essentiellement à la frontière et n'arrive pas (ou très peu) dans les grandes villes qui sont sous les bombardements...

Besoins humanitaires : location de logements temporaires ; nourriture dans les conditions actuelles de pénurie alimentaire pendant cette période de guerre et l'après-guerre (pain, chocolat, légumes, fruits, etc.) ; médicaments pour maintenir les personnes et leurs proches en bonne santé ; produits essentiels pour les bébés et jeunes enfants (nourriture pour bébés, produits de soins pour enfants, etc.) ; dépenses pour les services d'évacuation (billets de transports publics, services de chauffeurs privés, hébergement dans les pays d'accueil, etc.).

Maura Star was one of the brightest, considerate, thoughtful humans I've had the honor to call friend. She was an artist, writer, dancer, DJ, and mother of a beautiful baby boy... Sadly, she developed terminal cancer and left us far too soon.....

To celebrate her extraordinary life and gifts, we gathered at Kalani on Big Island (a place she called home) and I was asked to share music. This is the recording of that evening.

Let's never forget the example she set and the love she shared, because at the end of it all, thats what matters most; Love.

Psýchodripsis to konceptualny ambientowy projekt oparty na idei ucieczki od własnego „ja”. Nadchodzący album to zbiór dźwiękowych opowieści utrzymanych w klimacie takich gatunków jak ambient, noise czy muzyka filmowa.

Anegonia ( Echoes of the Forgotten Self) to singiel z nadchodzacej EPki. Utwór jest ostatnim elementem opowieści, gdzie słuchacz nie otrzyma odpowiedzi, nie znajdzie katharsis.
Zamiast tego – poczuje chłód. Rozluźnienie. Lekką grozę. Może niepokój, który nie ma źródła.
Może też coś więcej: ulgę w tym, że nie wszystko trzeba rozumieć.

"Psýchodripsis" is a conceptual ambient project exploring the idea of escaping one’s own self.
The upcoming album is a collection of soundscapes influenced by ambient, noise, and cinematic music.

"Anegonia (Echoes of the Forgotten Self)" is the closing track of the upcoming EP.
It offers no answers and no catharsis — only a sense of coldness, release, subtle dread, and unease without a clear source.
It may also bring something else: the relief that not everything has to be understood.
