He has been filling dance floors all over the South African club scene since around 1997 and in that time, he has grown with his experiences and his talents 2lani has been one of the main people in South that has made distinct difference in the south African music scene.
He has been responsible for expanding Deep house and Underground music throughout South Africa, and way beyond.
We are so chuffed that 2Lani has found time to join us on The Sounds Collective this week and he did us an exclusive Brilliant One hour Guest mix...
As for me I'm Jumped on the decks for the first hour and I mixed up a selection of brand new promos and brand new releases and a few awesome classics. All of which are coming from Some top quality artists and some outstanding underground labels. The show kicked off at Midnight and went on for two hours. on 107.3 Stafford FM Across the county.

Having been actively involved in the music industry on a global scale for over a decade, Perth based DJ Kalon found herself naturally sliding in behind the decks. Her infectious love & passion for true underground music is definitely no secret to those who know her.

Whether it be chunky grooves, driving bass lines, euphoric melodies or percussive delights, Kalon’s roots remain characteristically loyal to all things deep, warm & emotive. Her sets are carefully curated with the intent to consistently bring something unique, whilst always reflecting a part of herself through sound.
With Progressive & Organic House being fundamental to her creative inspiration, Kalon’s diversity also transpires into Deep Tech & Dub Minimal flavours.

Currently a resident DJ for Perth based events crew / record label Restless, you can also catch her playing alongside the Bioma family, as well as various events for Above All Else, Soon Bot and Solouk. Kalon has also graced the decks at some of Perth’s most prestigious festivals, including Blossom, Full Circle and Meliora, and has had the privilege of supporting artist’s such as Dosem, Zankee, Eric Lune, KAZKO, Simone Vitullo, M.O.S. & Seb Wildblood.

FLYJNT presents his last EP, called 'Purelake'! We are so happy to host this work by the upcoming producer, as he keeps surprising his audience with an unique approach to melodic music. On the EP, you will see the different influences that FLYJNT blends together moving from a more Lounge, chilled sound on 'Purelake' Part I and Part II to a more Organic, rhythmic vibe on 'Blur' or 'Blend'. Wonderful music!

An EP like this deserve golden remix treatment, so following his success on Be Adult Music we approached Fishplant -  who definitely didn't disappoint.
