Solidarity in Times of Corona means: #leavenoonebehind
We’re experiencing an unparalleled humanitarian, sanitary and political catastrophe. In face of the global Corona-Pandemic we need to act solidly united more than ever and support those who are particularly affected. Those are the elderly, poor, homeless, immunocompromised people and moreover the refugees and displaced people at the European borders.

For how long can a person bear the inhumane conditions at the EU-borders? The circumstances in the camps on the Greek islands have been worsening for years. People seeking protection on the Greek islands and at the borders are exposed to heavy violence and systematic discrimination. Greece and the EU have in fact abolished basic human rights and the right for asylum in the past weeks. Refugees are being fired at, the conditions in camps like Moria are purposely kept inhumanely because the EU aims to deter those seeking shelter. Lawlessness is dominating where solidarity and humanity are needed the most. The situation in the overcrowded camps is disastrous and it lacks everything from medical aid to basic sanitary needs. The people are defencelessly exposed to the pandemic as they are trapped and isolated on the islands. Protective measures which are being carried out on the European mainland are simply impossible to be employed in the camps. (See more:

In Moria, water is becoming rare and is distributed in dangerously low rations – immediate support is required now. Based on the statement by the NGO Seebrücke our collective has decided to publish a Soli-compilation as quick as possible. The compilation will be divided into 3 EPs which will be released on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday of the coming week. A variety of artists – 16 in total – from many different genres of electronic music will be on the release, contributing to the project. We are aware that this is only a drop in the bucket in times like these. However, any form of solidarity is needed at the moment . You can get the EPs at Bandcamp and all the money made from this will directly be donated to the NGO “Mission Lifeline”.

Ishtadi means purification of the senses in Sanskrit;
The prerequisite of being absorbed in presence.

Performing live, Ishtadi conjures intricately interweaving sound textures, in the form of electronic productions made from his recordings of nature, real instruments and places, meanwhile playing ancient instruments like Didgeridoo, Ngoni, Drums and Spirit Flute.
It’s a unique improvised journey inviting the body and mind to enter slower brainwave frequencies, allowing for the listener easily to dive deep - into the now.

"At Move Copenhagen Festival it's about moving.  But sometimes we need to relax too.
Finishing the workshops before lunch, our Nature Tales Chill Out tent got crowded with people on top of eachother, taking that moment.
Integrating and digesting.
It seemed like the air was thick like butter, sparkles flying around and the sun shining bright. I don’t know where exactly I went, when playing the Ngoni, but somewhere beyond indeed."

The album 'Teaching A Fish To Fly' by Motorpig was conceived as series of narrations, made of memories and personal impressions of the author, and it consists of five pieces of long-shot drone-ambient jams draws conceptually on audio snapshots from travelling and intended to evoke a kind of surrealist images in a listener’s mind, images of something very simple but capable to tap the subconscious of the human brain with a focus on introspection and imagination. The work combines digital granular, analogue FM-synthesis, field recordings and occasional noises processed on a laptop, with its ranges and spectrum from more subtle soundscapes to rawer and at times even unnerving drones and sound experiments. 

Motorpig is an electronic project started in 2012 by Mykola Yosypenko based in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Inspired by his surroundings, he started doing music experiments using old tape recorders layering street sounds, radio noises and acoustic guitar to create vast sound collages. His today’s work combines generative music and granular synthesis with digitally processed field recordings and acoustic instruments. The music itself is a blend of his influences and imagination.
