Tierra Sounds heads south of the border for its next release! The Californian label officially welcomes a longtime friend with “Kumbala.” Liam Fitzgerald is one of the most promising new acts from Jalisco. His Mexican roots become very apparent on the debut feature. Its traditional instruments and vox come together in glorious, layered harmony.

Peruvian artist Marco Tegui has made a name for himself with hypnotic sounds, melodic journeys around the world and dark but bouncy harmonies. Starting in 2014 he established his residency in Berlin, playing in the best clubs of the city and releasing tracks on iconic labels like Bar25 Music, Dantze and Kindisch. We are happy to welcome him for another beautifully crafted EP called Pachquiza, that showcases his unique organic downtempo sound.

Hace 3 años viví la maravillosa experiencia de participar en el Festival Burning Man en USA, y al mismo tiempo tener una corta gira por Norteamérica.

Para esa aventura, decidimos crear junto a mi gran amigo Albert Hofmann, un tributo a nuestras raíces musicales (era lo mínimo que podíamos hacer por ser hijos de la Capital de la Salsa, Cali).

Hoy, para traer de nuevo a la vida el lanzamiento de nuestra canción ¡Que viva!, queremos compartirles este sabroso homenaje a la música y la vida.

Three years ago I had a 'life chancing' chance to be in Burning Man Festival, and tour shortly around USA at the same trip.

For that adventure, Albert Hofmann and I decided to create a tribute to our musical heritage (honestly was the least we could do keeping in mind we're sons of 'Salsa' Capitol, Cali).

Today, we decided to bring back to life our release ¡Que viva! and share this 'Tasteful' tribute to life and music.
