Whenever someone asks me what I've been listening to I always say @IGLOOGHOST. This kid has something special. The type of artist spirit that outlasts trends and lives outside of genre barriers. He's making his own world, both sonically, visually (he does all of his own art and is currently studying design), and also through text (check some of his amazing answers in our recent interview). 

If I had to bet all my chips on one act to break out in 2016 and make some serious waves in his own stylistic lane it would be IGLOOGHOST. His releases through UK imprint Activia Benz were a bizarre and refreshing hello, and his quick signing to Flylo's Brainfeeder, where he released his debut Chinese Nu Year EP, solidified his place as one of the most interesting acts in the world of music right now.

Exclusive soundtrack made for Ears Have Ears by German musician Holymachines.

Holymachines is the electronic music project of Berlin-based musician and sound artist Chris Hill. Through the use of digital technologies, he absorbs small fragmentary snatches from contemporary culture, deconstructing them and reassembling them as bold new sonic gestures, resulting in sonic artefacts that meander between ambient, noise and collage. His debut album 'Image Version‘ is out now via Average Negative.

'Hype / Consequences' is an audio collage exclusively assembled for Ears have Ears. On a compositional level, the piece is glancing at ambient music from a broken lens perspective and stripping it off its comforting qualities. As a narrative, the piece is an overdose meditation on information society and sings of the digital alienation and schizophrenia we experience on a daily basis.

MONIB, is an esteemed DJ, producer, and artist hailing from Qatar with Palestinian roots. With a diverse musical background influenced by Top 40 pop hits, vogue beats, middle-eastern ballads and underground electronic music, MONIB’s sound is a fusion of nostalgic familiarity and boundary-pushing experimentation. They are currently based in Montréal, QC.

MONIB regularly performs across North America, including recent notable events and venues such as Boiler Room, Nowadays NYC, and Société des arts technologiques in Montréal.
