dustBunny is a Toronto-born, Montreal-based electronic music producer and artist. They began their journey in Glasgow in 2020, initially crafting a sweet, glittery, and somewhat naive sound inspired by soft comedowns, sunrises, and feelings of rebirth; music born from finally feeling seen. Over time, however, dustBunny’s sound evolved into something darker and harsher, trading vulnerability for exposure and fragility for intensity. Today, their sonic palette is closer to ransom letters than love notes, delivering cathartic sirens that serve both as emotional release and fierce retaliation.
dustBunny has built and moved through spaces like Dollhouse; a party they co-founded that grew from skatepark renegades to packed out clubnights. After Dollhouse, they launched a new series called PSYREN, with the first event titled Biblically Accurate Dubstep. They’ve played alongside artists and collectives such as TDJ, Petal Supply, Umru, Galen Tipton, 909 Worldwide, in cities around the world such as Toronto, Montreal, Glasgow, and London.  
On the summer solstice of 2024, they released their debut album, Halcyon - a culmination of the past two years of work and a demonstration of the breadth of their sound. The project was alongside a three-part outdoor event series, each held under the full moon that summer.
For this mix, dustBunny has taken pain and anguish and distilled it into potent wrath, contextualizing the body of work they have made in the past few months following instances of betrayal and exploitation. A war song for old wounds aimed at past hurt, this mix is both revenge and release; a refusal to stay quiet.
